What a great drums solo by RICKY WELLMAN!!
Sugar foot Ricky is what we call him in DC! RIP. Also RIP MILES and RIP CHUCK BROWN!
GOD DAMNIT Marilyn is a machine shes perfect amazing
Greatest to ever do it...D.Cs own baby!!!
Miles always pushing musicians beyond there limits to see what he could get out of them it's what made him a great band leader.

*Sugar Foots RICKY*
@ minute 0800 Rick Wellman superspreader triggers a pandemic of funk in da House.
Wow, I dig how Ricky was doing this 70s throwback thing as a drummer in1988, channeling Carl Palmer & Neil Peart whilst playing Prince-ly music with Miles!
He wasn't channeling Neil Peart.
Miles Davis forever
its stil amazing, these guys has some upper energy
Mazur is a groovy percussionist...love that she had the classic Paiste perc set, w/the cup chimes, the rotosounds...all that Stewart Copeland shit, as some of us drummer-types would think. Billy Cobham actually had one of those Paiste fun-sets at the turn of the 80s, which can be seen in a reunion show here on YT that he did w/Herbie & Ron during that period, as well as the thing that he did w/Louie Bellson.
Me quedo con Joung Andrés fine y A remark You made, Birland, Black Marquet y la trepidante Ice Poco Willy.
RICKY WELLMAN PAIURAAAA .....
Miles,, such a class-act; apologising for fucking with Ricky's sound to make him angry: but it worked he played out of his skin.
Bonne synchronisation entre Mr WELLEMAN and Miss MAZURE .
How come Ricky Wellmann didn't reach the Fame of Billy Cobham ? He plays all the stuff of B.C. with the traditional GRIP, PHANTASTIC !!
Ricky was completely underrated never got the recognition he should have!
Impresionante !!!!
Miles❤️
Great interview Adam
Wow, brilliant piece.
Marilyn Mazur. Amazing performance! Thanks for your gift to us!!!!!??
Alternative Jazz
Brutal
Dang I wish there was a camera angle behind Wellman to show his foot/pedal technique. But this was enjoyable and the next best thing. Thanks for sharing.
Genio Miles. Dios en la Tierra.
Crazy bongos and cowbells solo
bravo
Play Rick !!
Mark White that's my first cousin
Great composition by Neil Larsen.
that's my first cousin I am Roy Edward Wellman Junior AKA King Edward
Your cousin Ricky was a fantastic drummer/percussionist he is very missed RIP Ricky Wellman Miles Davis
Fantastic drumming.
If you are telling the truth and your cousin is still with us, tell him I said nobody has anything on him. He's first place all day.
i agree !!!!!!
NEW MUSIC
👍
yung benny now w santana.... wow wadda life
Miles on keys.
What was in that horn after the solo?
mic
thezenbum yea right😁
Nw dats hw u play drums!!!shhaaattt
I thought I was just listening to a drum solo by one single musician Neil Peart.
Kenny Garret e' troppo invasivo. A me francamente ha stancato.
E buenísimo
L'ho sempre gradito come l'odore della nafta.
immense batteur!
I don't like the sound of snear drums and the composition is anything, but the girl with percussion is nice
Ok
Ahhhhhh, Airto woulda reallly been good, think she's average, sorry!!!!!!
You are wrong Marylyn
Is awesome
Drummer is fair. He's no Mike Mancini.
no comparison
This guy played for Miles. Nuff said.
Mancini isn't that special... there are tons of drummer in metal and jazz that are on his level (or better), even behind a 4 piece. And the only reason he is the drummer for DT right now is because Minnemann didn't want to leave his other projects/bands.
Ricky is better!!
Mancini with Miles lulz. Miles himself called Wellman up to join his band. I saw Miles with Wellman (without Mazur on percussion though, she is brilliant) and he was stellar. Can you imagine Mancini playing with Miles with Joey DeFrancesco on the Hammond, as Wellman has? You probably can't, because you have zero imagination.
A very ordinar drummer
U got it wrong I was ironic....miles always had skills that the ordinary@@charlesrichter3854
