  • This is a step-by-step installation guide video on how to install the PROFLEX Commander performance flex fuel system for the BMW E90, E92, and E93 M3. After following all the steps in this video, start your vehicle to ensure there are no check engine lights which will indicate if something has been improperly installed. Repeat this 2-3 times and if the car starts normally and no check engine lights are present, plug the wiring harness into the PROFLEX Commander for E9X M3 unit and you are ready to fill up with E85!
No build is complete if you're still running on gas. Get your system today at www.advancedfu...

9:12 I like how you quickly skip over the "tidy up all your wiring" because there really is no way to make it tidy or nice-looking. I took off my plenum to try and hide the wiring as much as possible but the ProFlex harness is unavoidably going to be sticking out from underneath the plenum on most cylinders. Just a small nitpick in an otherwise pristine, show-quality engine bay. System works great though.

Can this be added to a m3 with a vf595 supercharger

Yes, you can run our system with your supercharger. You'll make huge gains, too! There are some technical things with the fuel system so email us at info@afd-usa.com and we can help you out.

I just finished my install today. The 3rd injector is a pain to disconnect and reconnect. What I had to do was use a small flat head screwdriver and slide the springs on both slide off, and then it came off very easily...BE CAREFUL not to flip it off completely...and losing it. For anyone else that wants to do it yourself...I suggest buying a couple of those clips...and pop the original ones off during install for the one that won't budge. Outside of that, everything else fits perfectly! Let see how this kit handles!

Awesome! Yeah, that 3rd injector is tricky. If you can pull it back it'll come right off without needing to remove the metal clip. See a demonstration at 6:44

Why not just take the intake plenum off?

You can, it just adds to the effort

@@advancedfueldynamics a question do I need a tune after install, I already have a stage 2 tune from turner on my e92 m3, is there a special tune for e85 that could help extract more power? Im very interested in purchasing thank you

Hi Christian, our system is designed to work seamlessly with your stock or aftermarket tune so you will not need a new tune after installing our system. Our system will maximize your power no matter then blend of E85 you're running -- you can think of it like an automatic, dynamic E85 tune in a box. It's better than an E85 tune and easier to setup because it's fully plug-and-play. Hope this helps!

Don't mean to be rude, but from what I've read, don't you NEED new injectors for an E85 conversion since it requires a higher flow rate right off the bat to even function?

Hey Sean. We dyno test every vehicle we have a kit for to make sure the injectors and fuel pump have enough capacity for full E85. We are using real time data derived on our dyno in a controlled environment so there are no guesses based on the "fuzzy math" common in the industry. If the car has major power adders then an injector swap may be necessary, but for a stock car or a stock car with a tune and minor bolt-ons we know your injectors are up to the job. Make sense?

@@advancedfueldynamics yeah. Was just curious since pretty much every other source says otherwise. But if you're dynoing every model you're making the kit for I suppose it's gotta be ok
