I’ve the Forma Adv. and I love them, I bought a pair of Alpine Stars Tech 5 and they are as stiff as ski boots, so I bit the bullet on something a little less protective but walking in them is no problem at all, plus I’ve got a wide foot and the Forma Adv. boots fit perfectly.
Waterproofness was a major selling point for me and, unfortunately, I had two pairs of Formas fail in that regard. Both were covered under warranty by the distributor, but I was out return shipping costs for the first pair. I ended up going another route (TCX Baja) and those genuine GTX boots, which have been discontinued, served me great. I’ve since moved to Gaerne Dakar and had a pair of those fail in terms of waterproofness, though I love the boots and had excellent support from Brian with that issue.
So it comes down to a good walking boot or a protective boot for when riding off pavement. I will go with the protection of the Corozal's every time plus I do not have a wide foot and the Forma would flop around on my foot and ankle in a crash or tip over providing only road rash protection.
I have orded some Alpinestars Corozal boots and I hope they will fit me. I orded from the KTM dealers so I get them in orange colors or KTM colors. I think they protect more. Love your videos. Thomas from Norway
Also have the Formas and love them. And Brian was a hero when he cheerfully exchanged size 13s for the 14s that I needed! Terrific customer service….

from what I understand thats ride error.
My experience . I’ve had both. The Formas disintegrated after a year. The corazals are still going strong.
Thanks
