We considered flying this section from Jaipur back to Delhi, but chose to drive and I’m happy we did! This new expressway is really nice- it’s limited access and the speed limit is much higher than the other roads we were on. I enjoyed seeing all the rural agricultural areas. I would have loved to take the train for part of our travels, but we didn’t have enough time for everything. Thanks! 🙌🙌☀️☀️

I don’t think any foreigners drive in India, though I don’t know for sure. If you rent a car it comes with a driver! I think it’s also common for local people to hire a car and driver too. I didn’t find it stressful to be a passenger… there is a bit of honking but it all seems friendly, not aggressive like in the states. Thanks! 👌☀️🇮🇳🚙🚗
It sure is a vibrant mix! I loved seeing the old Forts and Palaces, and old town squares- but on the other hand it's great for people now to have brand new expressways!! Thanks Kevin!
Do you have a trip planned? February is a good month! I had such a fun time in India and Nepal- I hadn't traveled much for 5 or 6 years. It's a different kind of exploring than hiking, and you learn a lot! I'll definitely study some Hindi if I even get to go back to India!! Thanks David!

I looked up a few facts and some history before I went, but the best thing is going there and meeting the people and experiencing their culture. I just didn't know how to get started. In 1992 I was supposed to fly from Jaipur to Delhi, of I remember that right. The road sure has improved since then. I remember a 12 hour drive and a lot of really bad road! But I was in time for my international flight home. 😉 Now I have to watch your Nepal adventure. Have a great day! Kaat

I just had to Google 'Burger Farm' and if I ever do make it to India, I would ask Praveen to guide me to some of the amazing places that he has driven you to. Then when I become hungry, if I wish to take a break from eating Indian food(which I like), I'd request that he drive me to the nearest Burger Farm. Awesome sunset you witnessed.
I really hope you get to visit India before too long and enjoy all these amazing places, food and meet the local people! Praveen will be happy to drive you, I have no doubt! We should have checked out the Burger Farm- I wish we had more time in India, so much to see! Maybe Steve will go with me once we retire, in just a few more years. The sunset that night was amazing!
