This video came at a good time. I came out of a toxic mega church/ ministry and have come to a realization that sorting through my faith and putting it back together doesn’t mean abandoning the faith, but returning to what God has actually called us too. Still a work in progress and I have some different convictions and choices around homeschooling, Christmas.. etc, but I very much resonate with ministry starting with the home, striving for minimalist and simple living, family and faith. ❤

Regarding Sunday School: I understand what you are saying about it being the Christian family's job to disciple their children. My heart is for those children who come from non-Christian homes or marginally so. I was a Children's Church teacher/leader & I feel like showing the little ones the love of Jesus is a very important ministry.

I agree with your comment and I would like to add that, living in a country where most people are atheist and being a christian is "weird", it is really, really important for children to see that being a christian is not just a weird thing that their embarrassing parents do. However, I also think that children should attend all church services gogether with their parents, there should be no children's programme to keep them away from "adults only services".

I think this was only the 2nd video I’ve watched from your channel but so thankful to have found you and excited to see more! It’s refreshing and encouraging to hear TRUTH and motivating to me to get back into the Word. My dad was a Baptist preacher my whole life until he passed from cancer in 2014 (seems like yesterday, but a lifetime ago) so I was raised strictly and Godly but now that I’m married and have started a family, I feel like I’ve lost my way a little bit because I wasn’t taught the “heart of the matter” of why we did or didn’t do things. So now I’m starting to get convicted to figure it out personally and live it! Thank you for sharing what God has taught you and keep keeping on for Him!

“Do you allow your husband to watch pornography?” WHAT?! This question floored me…. If this is a question you have been asked, then we definitely NEED TO TEACH MORE OF THE WORD IN CHURCHES‼️ This just grieved my heart as an older Christian. Have you had exposure to a messianic congregation? You have a very nice tallit, are pursuing Torah, are following Sabbath and the feasts, speak against replacement theology, and have given a lot of thought to the dietary law. You would fit into a messianic congregation! But then, I am seeing more and more believers coming in line with these things anyway as the Lord is truly leading his people.

A fantastic read when I started attending a messianic congregation was "Your People Shall Be My People," by Don Finto.
Bless you for putting yourself out there the way you have! It can be hard to be so candid in public!

I would love a video or if you already have one for you to maybe point me to it, but of sort of that transition stage in your family's life. From worldly Christians to all in, living for the Lord.
I think we can see these visions of praying before meals and having these conversations with our children but maybe feeling a little insecure and I understand reading the Bible but when you want to be active while you're still learning and getting "everyone on board". This would be me, the wife/mom, leading so it feels uncomfortable because I do pray it would be my husband leading but I just don't feel like I can wait on him any longer, but I really do encourage him too. Thank you!

I think she’s saying sabbath and “the Lords day” are 2 different things.. but I also sabbath from sun down Friday til sun down Saturday but still go to church on sunday. I honestly like it this way.. I think if I were to go to church on sabbath it would be too stressful and not be a true rest for me. Church for me these days having littles is a stressful time 😅

      @bac.914 Год назад +1

@@emmakate6518 I can understand that sentiment as I have a young child too. It was hard for me to observe the Sabbath and go to church on Sabbath because it’s such a shift from what we know in terms of going to church on Sunday and also relaxing on Sunday.
At first I was rushing to get things done before sundown Friday evening, thinking everything needed to be perfect before I was able to truly rest, AND have everything ready for church the next day. It seemed like a LOT.
But as I’m learning and growing I understand that the Sabbath isn’t about perfection. I get done what I can but focus on the Lord and being able to truly rest in Him for the day. I abstain from secular activities, don’t engage in business of any kind, and focus on allowing myself even more special time with Him. I’m also now in a place where my body pretty much knows it’s time for the Sabbath and I can feel myself relax, body and soul, into the day the Lord gave us as the day of rest.
Finding a church to attend on the Sabbath took a little while, but I found one and it’s become a routine now. Resting on Saturday and attending church on Saturday actually gives me a buffer. Before when I attended church on Sunday, I could feel the stress creeping in with the upcoming weeks activities looming over my head just on the horizon.
Nowadays, I love resting on Saturdays and then having another day to do whatever I need to do to help prep for the upcoming week. It’s a lot less overwhelming and I don’t feel like I need to rest AND prepare for the week ahead.
Even though I technically “rested” on Sunday it usually didn’t feel like it and I was definitely burnt out. Resting fully and attending church on Saturday has made a world of difference for me. God knew what He was doing! 😉

Love your videos! I can send you a bunch of resources that show that the food laws are definitely for today. When I first started I thought the same but a little more digging into the bible and it was all there. The dream peter had was not about animals but about gentiles. And the verse that says that Jesus made all foods clean was added later for commentary it was never in the original or even in all the earlier Bibles. Then I read Isaiah 66:17 and Isaiah 65:3-7 it's a prophecy of what is going to happen to people He finds eating unclean meat in the end. Also in the new testament in revelation 18:2 He continues to distinguish unclean birds from the clean birds. I don't want to be a crazy person typing this long comment lol just wanted to share what I've learned sister to sister. I've been looking everywhere for a channel like yours thank you so much for all the edifying you do for me and I'm sure many others. ❤

Was looking for this comment - thank you! I agree wholeheartedly about the unclean foods, especially food. Alcohol/coffee as well. Our bodies are temples and should be treated as such. Alcohol and caffeine do nothing good for us, especially mentally!

Totally agree! I feel so much better since stopping all those things. When we first found out about clean and unclean we ate some food from a friend not knowing they had pork in it and we were sooo sick the next day, but they weren't. Also learning from people who aren't even believers talk about how unhealthy these unclean meats are. These unclean animals have purpose just not for food. They are here to clean up the earth and the waters. I figure He knows what's best for our bodies better than us. Isn't the father amazing He thought of everything!

Appreciate you all- isn't it amazing to come together and have these discussions? These are things that both my husband, his associate pastor, and the team of theologians within Christicommunity (where they both serve) have studied and teach on thoroughly! I say that just to say that we definitely have dug into this from every angle and have oodles of resources for anyone that may be interested.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts- truly. It's important to examine different perspectives and engage in Biblical discussion. Let's explore the points you raised and respond Biblically:
      1. **Peter's dream and the inclusion of Gentiles**: In Acts 10, Peter has a vision where he sees a sheet with various animals and hears a voice telling him to kill and eat. Initially, Peter objects due to the dietary restrictions outlined in the Jewish laws. However, the underlying meaning of the vision becomes clear when Peter meets Cornelius, a Gentile, and realizes that God is showing him that the gospel is not exclusive to the Jews but also includes the Gentiles. While the primary focus of the vision was on the inclusion of Gentiles, it is significant to note that Peter's objection was based on the dietary restrictions of the Law.
      2. **The verse about Jesus making all foods clean**: Mark 7:19 records Jesus' teaching on dietary restrictions, where He says, "Thus he declared all foods clean." While some claim this verse was added later for commentary, it is present in reliable manuscripts and considered authentic by scholars. The implication is that the teaching reflects Jesus' understanding and intent regarding dietary restrictions.
      3. **Isaiah 66:17 and Isaiah 65:3-7**: These Old Testament passages depict prophecies related to God's judgment. While they mention the consequences faced by those who eat unclean meat as a part of idolatrous practices, it is essential to consider the broader context. In the New Testament, believers are not bound by the Old Testament laws regarding dietary restrictions. The dietary laws were meant to set apart the Israelites as a holy nation and were fulfilled in Christ, who established the New Covenant.
      4. **Revelation 18:2**: In this verse, unclean birds are mentioned as part of a symbolic description of the fall of Babylon. It is important to understand that Revelation employs rich symbolism and allegory. The mention of unclean birds is not intended to be a direct commentary on dietary laws but rather to convey spiritual and moral corruption.
      5. **Our bodies are temples**: Scripture teaches that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and we should honor and care for them (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). While it is crucial to consider the impact of our choices on our physical and mental well-being, it is important to differentiate between personal convictions and biblical mandates. The Bible does not categorically condemn the consumption of alcohol or caffeine. However, it does caution against excess and encourages moderation in all things (Ephesians 5:18, 1 Corinthians 6:12).
Regarding Noah, Genesis 9:1-4 does state that God permitted Noah and his descendants to eat all living things. However, it is worth noting that this permission was given before the establishment of the Levitical laws regarding dietary restrictions. The Old Testament dietary laws were specific regulations given to the Israelites as part of the Old Covenant. With the coming of Christ and the establishment of the New Covenant, the dietary laws were fulfilled and are no longer binding on believers.
While it is important to understand the Old Testament laws regarding dietary restrictions, we must also recognize the fulfillment of these laws in Christ and the freedom believers have in Him. The New Testament affirms that believers are not bound by the Old Testament dietary laws. However, it is wise to exercise discernment, gratitude, and moderation in our dietary choices, always giving thanks to God. Galatians is abundantly clear and such a great book to help us understand Christ's complete work on the cross. Can we adhere to OT laws that we want to? Of course- if you feel convicted to do so or enjoy so, sure! But does scripture leave us a completed instruction to still be adhering to such? No, in totality an complex we cannot hold to that line.
May the Holy Spirit guide you as you study God's Word and seek His wisdom in these matters. 🥰🙏🏼📖 Appreciate you all! XO

Unclean animals are just that they are scavengers. The Bible is one book nowhere does it say you can eat pigs. If you can eat pigs why not skunk’s and other varmint? The Old Testament was never done away with. Other then that I really enjoy your content😊

I'm a bit concerned that you do not oppose to tattoos, my belief is that we should not mark our body. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 says our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit and we should honour our bodies and Leviticus 19:28 says about not marking ourselves with tattoos.

In my conviction I believe that the sabbath is not only for Jews people, because God established it in the Creation. Génesis 2:2-3
God blessed the sabbath day and sanctified it, Jews Nation and gentiles didn’t exist yet, when God gave the Ten Commandments to Moses the 4 commandment wasn’t new. But is my conviction, my family and I we observe the Sabbath or Shabbat. And is a huge blessing! Sorry for the delay-- we had many coming to us that were yearning for Biblical discipleship, but either couldn't get to a local church or didn't have a solid church in their area. So-- my husband started teaching. He brought in his associate pastor. The church has just grown since! It's been amazing! We host our teachings online each week, we have a private Facebook group we all gather in. We open our home for all that want to come join for service. We host church family all throughout the year as they're traveling. We also host a yearly campout on our property with many church families- we fellowship, partake in communion together, study and have a lovely time! Hope that helps! You all are welcome to join us! facebook.com/groups/aphomeministries

Habakkuk pronounced woe upon a person who does the following things: (a) He “giveth his neighbor drink;) (b) he “puttest thy bottle to him;” and (c) he “makest him drunken also.” (Habakkuk 2:15). “Social” drinking involves the first two of these and, in the writer’s judgment, the third. Do you deny that it involves the first two? If so, on what basis?

    • @HeavenlyMindedHome
      @HeavenlyMindedHome  Год назад

Habakkuk is pronouncing the judgement of the Lord upon Babylon.
14 For recognition of the Lord’s sovereign majesty will fill the earth just as the waters fill up the sea.
[Babylon must be destroyed, because some day the Millennial Kingdom will fill the whole earth with the knowledge of God from Jerusalem. Babylon will be rebuilt during the Great Tribulation by the Antichrist. Babylon and Edom will be destroyed during the Great Tribulation. These two evil cities will become a dwelling place of demons during the Millennial Kingdom.
Habakkuk’s prophecy was dual, in that it was blending the destruction of Babylon of the past with Babylon of the future. Earlier, he had spoken of Babylon of the past. Now, he was speaking of Babylon of the future. The final kingdom will not be Satan’s Kingdom of Babylon, but the final kingdom will be the Kingdom of God in Jerusalem. Just as Jerusalem is the city of God, Babylon is the city of Satan.]
15 “You who force your neighbor to drink wine are as good as dead- you who make others intoxicated by forcing them to drink from the bowl of your furious anger, so you can look at their genitals.
[Babylon would be destroyed by the sin of drunkenness. Babylon also seduced other nations into their drunken habits. Once these nations were intoxicated, the Babylonians would induce them to walk around naked.]
16 But you will become drunk with shame, not majesty. Now it is your turn to drink and expose your uncircumcised foreskin! The cup of wine in the Lord’s right hand is coming to you, and disgrace will replace your majestic glory!
[Since Babylon forced other nations to drink and walk around naked, Jehovah would do the same thing to them. Babylon would drink the cup of wrath which was in Jehovah’s right hand. Jehovah would force them to walk around naked. All of the other nations would see that they were uncircumcised.]
17 For you will pay in full for your violent acts against Lebanon; terrifying judgment will come upon you because of the way you destroyed the wild animals living there. You have shed human blood and committed violent acts against lands, cities, and those who live in them.
[When Babylon went to Lebanon, they destroyed the forest kingdom, the animal kingdom, and the human kingdom. God will judge Babylon for their acts of violence.]
18 What good is an idol? Why would a craftsman make it? What good is a metal image that gives misleading oracles? Why would its creator place his trust in it and make such mute, worthless things?’
[Idolatry is useless. The demons behind these idols give misleading oracles. Idolatry will not save Babylon.]
19 The one who says to wood, ‘Wake up!’ is as good as dead- he who says to speechless stone, ‘Awake!’ Can it give reliable guidance? It is overlaid with gold and silver; it has no life’s breath inside it.
[Idols are not alive. They cannot wake up and accomplish anything. They cannot speak. They have no breath inside of them.]
20 But the Lord is in his majestic palace. The whole earth is speechless in his presence!”
Jehovah sits in His heavens in great power. The whole earth is speechless in His presence. God will allow Babylon to be God’s rod against Israel, but Babylon will be judged as well. [There will be a New Jerusalem in the Millennial Kingdom, but no Babylon. Babylon will exist as only a holding place for demons. Those who live by faith will enter into the New Jerusalem. Those who do not live by faith will not enter into the city.]
We must be diligent to keep scripture in its context so that we can truly understand the harmonization of God's word. This isn't a "social drinking" passage- it's a judgement on Babylon and the sins of the people. Is drunkenness a sin? ABSOLUTELY. But is every form of alcohol an outright sinful thing, no. Is consuming alcohol in moderation a sin, absolutely not. I look forward to the future reign when I consume a delicious steak & glass of wine with the Lord! 🙌🏼 🥩🥂
Isaiah 25:6 The Lord who commands armies will hold a banquet for all the nations on this mountain. At this banquet there will be plenty of meat and aged wine- tender meat and choicest wine.
[The Millennial Kingdom will begin with the wedding supper of the Lamb. The best angels, people, food, and wine will all be present at this celebration. During his last Passover, Jesus told His disciples that He would not drink the last cup of the Passover with them until this Millennial Kingdom celebration.]

My husband put this together for someone also wondering, and I think it might help. I'll attache some additional resources at the bottom as well. Praying as we seek the Lord's truth, through His word, on this- and all matters! XO
"Why do you call the ladies heretics?"
Because they are. Besides numerous doctrinal issues, they are false "preachers" according to the guidelines presented by the Apostle Paul in the scriptures.
      1 Timothy 2:12
[12] I do not permit a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man; rather, she is to remain quiet.
"That makes you no different than the Pharisees"
According to Matthew 16, the listed false teachers are no different than the Pharisees. Jesus had earlier warned,
“Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves” Matt. 7:15.
      In Matthew 16 Jesus says
[11] How is it that you fail to understand that I did not speak about bread? Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees.” [12] Then they understood that he did not tell them to beware of the leaven of bread, but of the teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees.
The leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees was their false teachings. Joyce Meyer, Priscilla Shirer, and Beth Moore all teach the heretical prosperity/health and wealth gospel, THIS is exactly what Jesus was talking about
      Matthew 23:5-7
[5] They do all their deeds to be seen by others. For they make their phylacteries broad and their fringes long, [6] and they love the place of honor at feasts and the best seats in the synagogues [7] and greetings in the marketplaces and being called rabbi by others.
"You should never try to shed a bad light on others who proclaim the gospel"
They preach a different Jesus. Paul instructs teachers to call these things out.
      Titus 1:9-11
[9] He must hold firm to the trustworthy word as taught, so that he may be able to give instruction in sound doctrine and also to rebuke those who contradict it.
[10] For there are many who are insubordinate, empty talkers and deceivers, especially those of the circumcision party. [11] They must be silenced, since they are upsetting whole families by teaching for shameful gain what they ought not to teach.
      Galatians 1:6-9
[6] I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting him who called you in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel-[7] not that there is another one, but there are some who trouble you and want to distort the gospel of Christ. [8] But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed. [9] As we have said before, so now I say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to the one you received, let him be accursed.
      2 Corinthians 11:13-15
[13] For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. [14] And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. [15] So it is no surprise if his servants, also, disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. Their end will correspond to their deeds.
"Joyce Meyer is one of the most dangerous false teachers alive. She blends a folksy mix of prosperity gospel, word of faith heresy and NAR theologies to create a hodgepodge mess that could lead most people far astray from the Biblical God and Christ. She has openly taught and believed that Jesus Christ was born again, which would mean that He sinned. She openly teaches that Jesus stopped being the Son of God on the cross. She openly teaches that Jesus went to hell to pay for our sins where He was tormented, and if you do not believe that then you are going to hell yourself. Meyer has taught that we are "little gods" a common word faith heresy practiced by the likes of Creflo Dollar and Kenneth Copeland. Not only is she a little god but she claims that she is not a sinner. A great deal of the teachings she provides she claims direct revelation from God to explain their extra-Biblical nature. Her wealth is estimated in excess of 15 million dollars as she preaches about God wanting you rich beyond your dreams of greed. She owns a 10 million dollar private airplane. This can literally go on and on, beloved. She is a wolf- plain and simple and has been devouring the sheep of the Lord and those seeking God for many many years." -Anthony Wade
"Judge not least you be judged."
Is about using right judgement. We are absolutely supposed to judge these things.
      1 Corinthians 5:12-13
[12] For what have I to do with judging outsiders? Is it not those inside the church whom you are to judge? [13] God judges those outside. “Purge the evil person from among you.”
      Acts 20:28-32
[28] Pay careful attention to yourselves and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to care for the church of God, which he obtained with his own blood. [29] I know that after my departure fierce wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock; [30] and from among your own selves will arise men speaking twisted things, to draw away the disciples after them. [31] Therefore be alert, remembering that for three years I did not cease night or day to admonish every one with tears. [32] And now I commend you to God and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up and to give you the inheritance among all those who are sanctified.

Would be interested to understand your opinion on the Catholic Church proclaiming the Sabbath as being changed to Sunday by their authority and not Saturday.
You acknowledge the true Sabbath as being Saturday but still maintain worship on Sunday? Are you concerned about who you’re worshipping if you’re aligning with the practice of worshipping on the day that the Catholic Church does, and the entity that says Sunday is the “correct” day, but in actuality is not?
The Sabbath is a sign between ourselves and our Creator, acknowledging Him, on the day He specifically designated as a day of rest. *Remember* the Sabbath - it’s the only commandment that says “Remember”. I understand looking at the heart of the matter but which do you align with in word and deed? Saturday or Sunday?
I’ve never come across someone that’s acknowledged Saturday as the true Sabbath and practices keeping the Sabbath, but also maintains Sunday worship.
I’m genuinely trying to understand and maybe there’s another video I can watch that has more details?

    • @HeavenlyMindedHome
      @HeavenlyMindedHome  Год назад +1

The catholic 'church' is not Biblical in the first place- Constantine maybe did some good things for persecution, but he was not some sort of Christian defender.
No one can change the Sabbath, but we also need to understand the substance of the Sabbath- not merely the shadow. Sunday was the day Christ rose from the dead (First Fruits) and the day the early church began gathering due to being expelled from synagogue. Gathering on the Lord's day (Sunday) has NOTHING to do with what day the Sabbath is. And while there are MANY Biblical sabbaths, the weekly Sabbath is Friday sundown to Saturday sundown.
I think this does a great job clearly laying that out: ruclips.net/video/WVpTf2HBz1A/видео.html

@@HeavenlyMindedHome Thank you so much for responding! I appreciate you taking the time to comment.
Catholicism definitely is not the same as Christianity, I agree with that sentiment. Sunday certainly is not the Sabbath and there are many Sabbaths, but I’m specifically referencing the weekly Sabbath, from sundown Friday to sundown Saturday, which is the seventh day Sabbath as commanded by God to be kept. I’m not sure why many Christians seem to think that God’s laws were changed or done away with at the cross (the Ten Commandments). Jesus said he came to fulfill the law, not to destroy it. God doesn’t change.
I understand what you’re saying about Sunday being considered the Lords Day, but that is not the Sabbath either and I think intertwining the two isn’t accurate. Jesus did not rise on the Sabbath and I think using his resurrection to almost facilitate or justify Sunday worship is erroneous.
My concern is that if you worship on Sunday, who or what are you worshipping, since that aligns with the Catholic doctrine that Sunday is the Sabbath? (Which I think we both agree it’s NOT). The Catholic “Church” said that they had the power to change the Sabbath, which aligns with scripture regarding the beast changing times and laws.
There’s also so much paganism peppered throughout Christianity and Catholicism that the lines get blurred. We must pray for discernment in all things and be careful.

    • @saqu7143
      @saqu7143 22 часа назад

Maybe it will be helpful to start with understanding the difference between Jewish culture, tradition and beliefs and "biblical".
Many Christians who "go Torah observant" actually just try and adopt Jewish practices. Which is not biblical and not authentic and often feels off or weird (saying this as a Jew myself).
The Oral Law is a huge thing in Judaism and many "foreigners" do not fully grasp the concept of that and how that might be conflictibg (at times) with the Written Law.
If this research is still relevant for you, maybe start with looking into that.
      Questions welcome...

Because the disciples started gathering on Sundays, the Lord's day- the day Jesus rose from the dead (First Fruits), after they had been expelled from the synagogues for proclaiming Jesus as Messiah. We see that became a common day of gathering for the early church. Not that ANY specific day is called in scripture for us to gather- the only command we see is that we do not forsake gathering. :)

I’m still not following the justification for using the disciples gathering supposedly on Sunday as a way to validate Sunday worship. John 20:19-- That Sunday evening the disciples were meeting behind locked doors because they were afraid of the Jewish leaders. Suddenly, Jesus was standing there among them! “Peace be with you,” he said.
Acts 20:7-- On the first day of the week, we gathered with the local believers to share in the Lord’s Supper. Paul was preaching to them, and since he was leaving the next day, he kept talking until midnight.

Prominent figures like Joyce Meyer, Beth Moore, Priscilla Shirer, Paula White, among others, have been widely documented as misrepresenting biblical teachings. Please note, this isn't subjective but is based on documented evidence. There exists a substantial number of credible Biblical educators who have meticulously analyzed and unveiled their doctrinal errors. These women have confused and lead many other women astray by their teachings.
I'd like to respectfully point out that, according to the Bible, we are indeed instructed to call out false teachers for what they truly are. Consequently, this action should not be viewed as accusatory or gossip.
      Consider the following biblical references:
      * 2 Timothy 4:2 states that we should "Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke, and encourage-with great patience and careful instruction."
      * Titus 1:9 emphasizes that we should "He must hold firm to the trustworthy word as taught, so that he may be able to give instruction in sound doctrine and also to rebuke those who contradict it."
      * 1 John 4:1 instructs believers to "Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world."
These verses imply that identifying and calling out false teachings aligns with scriptural guidance. Consequently, our actions are not rooted in malicious intent or gossip, but rather in a desire to preserve the integrity of our faith and prevent the spread of false doctrine.
As Christians, it is vital that we uphold the truth and nurture a discerning mindset in order to protect our faith and fellow believers.

There are many Sabbaths- but the weekly Sabbath is Friday sundown to Saturday sundown. Our family gathers with our church family on Sunday, the Lord's Day, as that was the day of First Fruits when the Lord Jesus rose from the grave- and the day that the disciples & early church started gathering on once they had. been expelled from the synagogues.
We have to have a complete understanding of the Sabbath- and I think this video does a beautiful job explaining. I enjoy my Sabbath rest every day!

@@HeavenlyMindedHome Thanks so much for explaining all that! I totally agree with you too. I know many people in my circle who say it has to be on Saturday and if you don't do it on that day then you are sinning. I can't get behind that at all because like you said Since Jesus came to save us, we are no longer bound to those ceremonial laws. And I'm learning more from scripture that Jesus is the Lord of the Sabbath so in Him we always find rest! Never said that- we've been serving for the past 5+ years without a "paycheck" trusting in the Lord for all.
God's word states, In the same way, the Lord commanded that those who proclaim the gospel should get their living by the gospel.
My family and I serve in ministry full time- we have worked, without a paycheck, for the past 5 years trusting the Lord to provide as we work unto Him. One way that we do that is through putting together countless materials, resources, teachings, curriculums, etc... and offering them to people- literally around the world. We offer a special group here, on top of the couple thousand videos, with small group teachings, direct materials and more. We did so at the request of our viewers as they loved a way to be able to donate to the ministry so that we can keep doing what we're doing. You can get "all the extras" for $4.99. I'm not here to "sell something". The study is free, materials are free, teachings are free- but we are allowed to offer things that can help us to keep the electricity on so we can keep creating and serving. Hate to see such a serious task as encouraging and equipping one another, as well as our amazing community here, get belittled in something like "you had me until you tried to sell something". I offered an additional resource. On top of the hundreds of videos here (for free) that go along with these topics. the ox doesn't have to be muzzled, let's remember that those serving faithfully in ministry can receive some provision to keep working as well. 🙏🏼 It's there to be a blessing and a tool- and the value received FAR outweighs the cost-- that has always been a priority for us.
1st Corinthians 9:7-14 -- Who serves as a soldier at his own expense? Who plants a vineyard without eating any of its fruit? Or who tends a flock without getting some of the milk? Do I say these things on human authority? Does not the Law say the same? For it is written in the Law of Moses, “You shall not muzzle an ox when it treads out the grain.” Is it for oxen that God is concerned? Does he not certainly speak for our sake? It was written for our sake, because the plowman should plow in hope and the thresher thresh in hope of sharing in the crop. If we have sown spiritual things among you, is it too much if we reap material things from you? If others share this rightful claim on you, do not we even more? Nevertheless, we have not made use of this right, but we endure anything rather than put an obstacle in the way of the gospel of Christ. Do you not know that those who are employed in the temple service get their food from the temple, and those who serve at the altar share in the sacrificial offerings? In the same way, the Lord commanded that those who proclaim the gospel should get their living by the gospel."

Like I responded to your husband, I stated John McArthur because you did, and in my education of "Calvinism," which is widely used and referenced to describe "TULIP" doctrine, predestination, election. You asked people to ask you about your beliefs, so I did. I do not ascribe to the "TULIP" doctrine, nor do I believe that scripture teaches that some are elect and some are predestined to hell. You may not believe that either, but that's my understanding of "TULIP" doctrine, and that is what John teaches. It's very important for me to know the core of who I'm listening to believes. I too believe that "Doctrine Matters." So again, I simply referenced these "words" due to the beliefs they are attached to, because I too believe that scripture matters. It's ok that you believe this way, and I don't. I love your mind and heart from your biblical perspective. I believe that when God says, "I wish for all to have eternal life" that He means everyone, not just His elect, again, you may believe the same as me, but I asked and your hubby answered, "yes, we do."
You stated in your videos to please be kind, and I am. Please don't take this as an attack or that I'm up for a good 'ole debate. I'm not, as I didn't even respond to your hubby's last comment. I think you're great people and I watch you because I resonate with your mind and heart as a Christ follower, wife, mother, teacher, and Sister in Christ. Much ❤️

So much good here but sad to see the sneaky weaving of reformed theology here. I read through your doctrinal statement and it’s very impressively worded. I just always wonder why reformed, Calvinists etc, never come out and speak boldly of what and who they are. It likens itself to a lawyer’s document (Calvin), of which the regular Joe needs a lawyer to really understand what papers he’s about to sign.

It’s about setting the day aside to rest as he YHWH and YHWH always says to remember it always! It was abolished by the Romans during their antisemitic times and persecution of Jews. Digging further into the history will lead you to the truth as well in your spiritual growth. It’s amazing what you will learn regarding early church fathers also..
