This really made me think.. why did they remaster warcraft 3 first, why not remaster the 1st and 2nd war ones? The story before wc3 is so forgotten and not even known by most people
Partly because they have forgotten the lore and partly because WoW retconed and added a lot of the lore that conflict will most likely occur.
Just as an example, Azeroth in W1 and W2 refer to the Kingdom of Azeroth, not continent or world. As such, a lot of the reference to it would be anachronistic since the name of the Kingdom now is retconed to Stormwind. In fact, when Lordaeron's footmen say "For Azeroth" in W2, its actually similar to the American "Remember the Alamo" since at that time, the Kingdom of Azeroth has fallen with their army being merged into the army of Lordaeron.
I never really got into WoW or any Warcraft games with the exception of Warcraft 2. The music and dialogue are so good!

It will, yes. And you know what? Even this video belongs to Blizzard/Activision but they will do nothing to claim it. Just how the world works nowadays :)

Waiting Warcrafy 3 on Warcraft 2 engine
as of latest patch, crashes the game on launch, even after repair.

Now its tempting to get the reforged but its due to those modders and not Activision, sad that in a way Activision wont learn from their mistakes and will stay ignorant and arrogant forever.
Just hope they won't do the same thing as with Warcraft 3...

I don't think they will. In example you can play entire Starcraft Brood War on Starcraft 2.
Based of the TOC of Mods for Reforged, Activision Blizzard practically owns all mods created using their map editor.
So if the dev of those maps open a patron acc or pay pal link and wants support, do support them if you like it.
They can't since Blizzard owns both games.

Hmm... Finlandia, Absolut, Danzka, Stolichnaya. Just a few of them in a range of 13-20 eur which is quite expensive here. But there are more expensive ones as well, in a range of 30Eur and more, I have never even tasted them lol :)

Its good, but why orcs use hammers, not axe?
They made distinct grunt models for each clan. Blackrock grunts use hammers.

Ugh... this is for Reforged. Reforged doesn't even allow custom campaigns and it's DRM'd to high hell. I'll pass.
warcraft 2 was dope. never cared about warcraft 3 with illidan, thrall and arthas. warcraft3 is too overhyped
Lets just hope that if Blizzard decides to make a Warcraft 2 Remaster, that it wont turn out like Warcraft 3 Remastered.
It ain't gonna happen, Blizzard is swallowed by Activision and has no voice in these decisions anymore

This is great, but it is just sad that it has to be made not by Blizzard itself, but by fans. Why are we making games for Blizzard? Almost seems like they should...idk be getting paid by Blizzard to make these quality games that the fans want?
