Ive been using titanium over the winter mate , brilliant metal . I managed to get some Vargo gear in a trade so it didn't cost anything . Ive cut my cook weight by over half . I wasn't really fussed about the weight until i realized how light it could be . This set looks very useful and can't argue with the price .. Thanks for sharing bud
Can't say yet bud . Ive been using an MSR Pocket Rocket for ease over the winter but i regularly use cook pots over a fire so it won't be long before its tried out . Can't see any worries with it but you never know .
I have the pot and fry pan Stoic set. Pretty nice but the fry pan has a poorly designed handle. You are suppose to squeze it together then fold it back over the pan, not lay in bottom of pot. It ertainly isn't Snow Peak but at half the price of less it is pretty good.
Thanks man. You go farther than I do, so I don't blame you. I don't carry much when day hiking, but if I'm gonna spend the night, I go short and heavy. The dinner thing is real important to me - it has to be good. Speaking of day hikes...had the Mountain House chicken salad today. Cold water, throw it on a tortilla, not bad!
nice vid, little idea, the mesh bag from the second set could be sterilized and kept inside your kit, cook your pasta inside it as a built-in collapsible strainer.
hey Alan aka "PHARRAOH" I watched this video you recommended to watch on either Google or Twitter. I only have a long Ti spoon by Toaks and a Small REI TI spoon so I just ordered one of these kits for $45 including shipping. its my first Ti pot, more pots for the money. Way cheaper than just the MSR Ti .4L cup is $39.95, GSI Ti .6L cup ($39.95), TOAKS 600 ml Titanium Mug is $29.00, or the SnowPeak Ti .7L cup is $45.95,
Kristyanna Virgona yeah, its a great deal! and back country has a IN STONE guarantee on everything they sell. great company. Hope you make many great meals and show them to us. have a great weekend.
Really a good review. I'll check it out on Backcountry. But I have recently gotten away from any real cooking while backpacking. I have a Jetboil flash that I used but now I find it to heavy and bulky. I still use it for work and car camping though. If I have a beer can pot to boil water in and an alcohol stove I'm good I think. I'm looking to just use Mountain House meals and the like. Don't get me wrong I see why you like this titanium pot from what you used to use. Great video
nice set up and the price is good i use the solo one person set i added the 900 pot as well it was well over 150 dollars you did very well thanks for the vid
Good information. I saw your previous videos and they are superb! I think your gonna be better than nutnfancy! lol. You have better quality and nice gear. I wouldnt mind seeing some of your Arc gear. Thanks!
I'll have to watch the rest of your videos to see just how far you have gone. Looking forward to them. On my last trip I had a Mountain House Pasta Primavera and added chicken from a pouch of Tyson Cooked Chicken. Actually shared the chicken pouch as it was enough for 2. It was really good. I considered the Chicken Pouch to be a luxury item in my pack. The added weight was well worth it. I agree the food has to be good. It's part of the fun and something to do in camp. Check my peach crisp video
Outdoor equipment is so outrageously over priced. The manufacturer of those pots probable have such a small fraction of the retail price in producing the product.

Thanks so much! That is some high praise indeed! I sure appreciate it. Glad you enjoyed the videos. I'll try to get some more up there soon as I can!

Just finished watching "Wild Camping under an Awesome Moon". Brilliant! That moon was indeed awesome. Love it. Great stuff man.
I know, right? Figured out that handle fold over thing after a while. Thanks! Looking forward to abusing these things.

Sure is light! We'll see how it cooks and holds up. How's it do if you stick it right in the fire? No problems?

while the smaller pot, is nestled in the largher, will a large fuel fit in the smaller size pot and allow the lid to be put on
