You have the best system I’ve seen so far. Your focus is to get as much dirt as you can in the most efficient way possible. You could easily make $300 per day on a good day and $100 on a bad day. Best of my wishes to you.

Enjoyed the vid. My Dad and I (a tv 9 YO) placered the American River, California in the summer of '57 over 6 week ends- using a 4' sluice box pulled 1.4oz. Had a great time! Gold was $32. Oz then. LOL

That was pretty cool watching you run the concentrate as the dirt slowly washed away! It looked like so much more gold when you were running it through to me, but I never ran one so I don't know how deep and wide that final run actually is.
I was born north of Candle Lake and never thought about gold in the N Saskatchewan. Great job my friend.

I grew up in Shellbrook, Sk. & I've known since I was little that there was gold in this fabulous river!

I was born in Birch Hills in 1940. Never entered my mind to try panning in the NSR. When I worked there in 1970,71. Paving the road between Prince Albert and Birch Hills.

Those kind of river bed are truly full of gold, some even had nuggets in them. in indonesia they call it Batu Cadas, gold settle at those rocks. Good vid.
Unfortunately, there are no pickers or nuggets to be found..it's ALL flower gold...

I was in the oil patch and in Saskatoon, ironworking, and never thought about doing this on my turnarounds... crap! All that fun I missed out on....
Hey Wh.. pretty similar.. I use to work 12 hrs shifts always 3 or 4 day weekends.. that shift would be great for a hobby like this.

What a beautiful day you had with so much treasures ! The NSR and Red Deer river are great lots of fun really enjoy your videos they got me into going out in those areas , also have recently found gold by crushing oxidized conglomerates from the Bow River .

@@CanadianGoldProspector Yes sir no free gold in the sediment but in the oxidized quartz conglomerates some flour and odd flake after crushing.
You my friend are living the Canadian dream, as a fellow Canadian I can say that. Although I've raised 7 sons and have spent most of their time growing up out in nature exploring our awesome planet, I have not yet had the opportunity to prospect or pan for gold even though I have the equipment to do so .On two occasions one of my sons did buy gold paydirt packages online for me but they never arrived so we are basically done with online purchasing and I'm going to try to find time next summer to head up north and do a little prospecting now that all of my sons are in their 30s .( Yay ! A little time for Dad now). Lol. Anyway I just wanted to tell you that I enjoy watching your channel and content, keep it up and I'll keep watching. Best regards from Lloyd way over here in Ontario.

your mini sluse is a really good set up cleans your cons pretty quickly and looks like you are getting most from first run but your big sluice could probly use an extra section of matting you would probly get another .2 .3 grams of gold from that amount of running on the same ground
Yes I would have to agree with you and extra section of matting might help a bit, I don't know about that much.. although I do see a few specks, meaning 1-2 every few rows at the bottom up. The majority of the gold is caught in the first 5' section.. but I carry in the wooden 4' extension making a 9' sluice for shits n giggles..to see the amount captured beyond the 5'... not sure if carrying it is worth the 50cents in gold...🤣😂.. but if I were to add another extension..what would you recommend?
