    These videos are amazing, there's a lot of knowledge being shared in these, even just little things like the tools used, i.e long funnel and cookie tray, will help me with doing my own servicing.
    You asked about suggestions, I would personally really like a video on servicing the front suspension!

    Thanks so much. Really helped me. All my questions answered. I measured my old spings - they were significantly shorter than the new ones. I suspect most clutches that seem Ok will be spring issues. My plates looked fine but the clutch was slipping badly. Old gasket was fine too :).

    After all, I changed the coolant pump, so I changed also the 2 small o-rings for the pump.
    Since the coolant left some calcificatioj around it, I had to clean it well before mounting the new ones.
    The gasket went well, I fitted on the engine. I used 10 Nm for the bolts, but I have small leakage, maybe I will tork the bolts after I will drive the bike for a while

    Great video, I would add you should also put oil in the oil filter so there isn’t a dry spot and you should soak your gasket in oil too for a better seal and it will also keep it in place

    • @Mad8vCycles

      I always do the wipe the oring w oil on the filter (or did you mean the side cover gasket?). Never really bothered prefilling it since i just top off after running the bike.

    • @jimsnow8004
      @jimsnow8004 Год назад

      Some say don't prefill the filter because that (admittedly small) volume of oil goes through the engine unfiltered on startup. Others say the few seconds of low oil volume while the filter charges causes more damage than the potential crap in unfiltered oil.
      Take your pick....

      @@jimsnow8004 I’m sorry but that makes no sense, for one, it’s fresh oil so I doesn’t need to be filtered. And two, none of the oil you are pouring in your engine is filtered 😂, maybe I’m not understanding what you’re saying
