Me too.I close my eyes and travel in imagination while having tea. I can't stop listening to this playlist. Working, driving, at home... I'm always listening. It is a journey into ourselves. Pure introspection. / I'm am sorry, I am Brazilian I don't know speak English very well
I started listening to this kinda music thanks to the game Life is Strange. So personally, I immediately think of LiS when I listen to this stuff.
Like, the instant the first song started, I'm picturing Max and Chloe just hanging out in the junkyard, messing with random junk, the camera zoomed out and panning around with them in the distance, probably around sunset with an orange sky.
It makes me think I'm a kid in the backseat of a car that's driving down a winding road watching with amazement as large mountains full of pine trees pass by. My window down the wind blowing my hair all around. The sky a brilliant blue with patches of fluffy pure white clouds, I watch as trees pass by faster than I can look at every detail but I can see the bright blue water falling down the sides of the mountain and the trees that grow higher then most buildings in wonderous amazement.
Never thought Indie folk would be my fav genre
The only problem with this playlist is that I don't want to stop listening to it. I have stayed up until 3 or 4 am listening, just can't turn it off. It is soothing to the heart, healing to the soul. Thank you. I feel hopeful and human again.

PERHAPS YOU STILL STARING US IN THE FACE EVERY DAY FOREVER MORE... then the song IM STILL HERE CAME ON ... Well then it's high time to make some of your own...enjoy.
These songs, really made me realize what i wanted to pursue in life. I've never been a person who can socialize or communicate well with others, I never fit in with any groups, and pushed away every person I ever dated. Ive been like this my entire life, id just sit their at night and stare at the ceiling with my headphones on.
I often thought about what I could do to help people who are going through a rough time in their life. I wanted to give them something like a ray of hope, something that they could be inspired by, like a mutual understanding of feelings i guess.
But i never had any idea as to how i would accomplish this, it took me almost 22 years to figure this out. Its through music, its something we can share with eachother, its like another language that connects people not just with words. It also connects us through specific feelings. A song can bring out the most vulnerable parts of people and also the strongest. Its something that can portray that persons life and their exact feelings, i hope this helped someone, even if its just one person.
Please keep your head up and push towards your goal. Dont be afraid to take life head on, life will be a struggle, but in the end all that struggle can pay off.
This is so beautifully written. Have you ever thought about writing? You could use it to help others like you mentioned. It seems like you have a lot to say and putting it on paper is magical. Also, lookup videos on RUclips about what a Lightworker is. My intuition told me that you are one, like me. Knowing this about yourself really helps you realize your life purpose. Also if you like to read, buy the book Your Souls Plan by Robert Schwartz. That book changed my life and helped me future out who I am. Good luck. 💫🦋

This music speaks to my soul in a way that I can't describe. It feels like home, and that if nothing existed but me and this music I wouldnt worry, I would just be. Such a weird feeling, but something just feels so warm and comforting about it.

I am 72. Have loved music since Longines Symponettes of the 50's. Jackie Gleason jazz,and I even produced a little rock in Boston during the seventies. This may be the BEST 4 hour compilation of any music I ve heard. Love ballet and opera and I could mix this with Puccini, Wagner, Tzachovski., Eagles, Queen . Spot on AOne job ladies.
For another year listening to indiefolkcentral, even though it was difficult this year, because of the pandemic, it eased our lives a little more, listening to music every day, especially me, who is a health professional in Brazil. IFC strong hug.

The melodies are medicine. Like filling a spoon full of magic and swallowing it and then becoming part of the sound. I can close me eyes and become the dance that it makes. It is truly spiritual heavenly stuff. The harmonies blow me away. It's the sound of LOVE. Spirit heard in every song. Thank you from every piece of my heart.
This is an excellent collection of music by people with excellent songwriting skills and talent with their instruments. I am truly puzzled by the 506 people that give this a thumbs down. How does that happen? Even if this is not the type of music one enjoys, there is no doubt all of these artists are very talented. For me, I would much rather hear this type of music on the radio instead of the overly-produced pop crap that has taken over most music today from country-pop, to dance-pop, to rock-pop, and even rap-pop. The songs here are raw and played with real instruments by very talented people. Thank you for putting this list together!!

Once again, another great playlist by Indie Folk Central. I love the songs "Catch Fire" by Canyon City and "Heading Nowhere" by Simon Alexander. Speaking of Simon Alexander, he released two albums in three months this year. I have never seen an artist release two albums in a span of three months before. This man was very busy. Wow! I have songs off of "In The Rust" and now "Love You Lost" is off of "Oska". I look forward to more from "Oska". The Satellite Station has also had a great year. With singles like "Caught In The Middle" and "Shelter" he now has another single here called "Come Home". I am glad that this channel included "Bloom" by Lullanas which was already featured on his channel already as a single. It is a great song and one of the best songs in late 2020. This playlist already has featured some contenders for songs of the year but what about the other artists featured here. What about Callum Pitt and Dhruv Visvanath.
"Weeks" by Simen Mitlid is a great song where it feels like you are bringing in something new such as the new year in a months time. "For All You Give" by The Paper Kites is a nice calming song. It has that 90's pop feel that i remember as I grew up in the 90's. It reminds me of those 90's pop bands that we all knew and grew to love. I love the song "Where I Belong" by Jesse Taylor . It's a great song to end the week and the year on. "Beauty In The Light" by Hollow Coves is a great song. He sings about Spring. I can't wait until Spring to be honest with you. We are supposed to have a vaccine for COVID around that time. I am so looking forward to the end of this pandemic and the beginning of a new world. 2021 will be what it will be and we must make the best of it. I intend to do that very thing. 2021 is the year going to be awesome. I can't wait "Mountains" by We Are All Fossils was partly inspired by "Moving Mountains" by The Brevet especially at the beginning of the song. It's a great song to snap your fingers too. "Sea Creatures" by Axel Flóvent is a great song to listen to when you are thinking about the summer when you are sitting indoors to keep warm from the winter cold outside. "Another Ending" by Henry Hanson is a great song to end the playlist on as it focuses on the moments you had on previous road trips and future moments that you look forward too. "My True North is Anywhere We Can Go".
