  • There are over 42,000 terpenes in the natural world - and cannabis contains over 240 of them.
What are terpenes? Complex biological scent molecules that give all living things their aroma. In cannabis, terpenes also determine flavor and effect.
Renowned cultivator and breeder Kevin Jodrey has devised an interpretive format of Fuel/Earth and Fruit/Floral to describe any scent combination within cannabis to help specify not only aroma and flavor expressions, but also classify effects within various varietals.
To learn more about terpenes, trichomes, terroir and the nuances and complexities that distinguish exquisite cannabis from the ordinary - straight from legendary cultivators, breeders and artisans like Kevin Jodrey, Mel Frank, Swami Chaitanya, Frenchy Cannoli and more, check out www.ganjier.com
Ganjier is a first-of-its-kind, rigorous, multi-tiered cannabis trade certification, created and taught by the most respected names in the field with the intent of producing an entirely new class of cannabis professional -- the cannabis sommelier.
Kevin Jodrey is the mastermind behind the original Ganjier concept. He is the Founder of Port Royal genetics and has judged such prestigious cannabis competitions as Emerald Cup and Golden Tarp.

Thank you so much for sharing this! This is great. Massive improvement over the indica/sativa categorization :'). Before this video, I would try to have a representation of each of the following categories:
"full cbd", (+ ginseng gets me nice and sober if I'm feeling drowsy the next morning)
"body numbing + heavy relaxing" (e.g. hindu kush, afghani kush),
"positive thoughts + energy + no fatigue" (e.g. tangie or Mexican haze),
"thought-provoking" (e.g. haze strains) at high doses confusing and if smoked regularly they feel weak but numb your thoughts
"waves of euphoria" (e.g. sour fuel strains) usually with a nice rush and increase in bpm
"relaxed & focused" (e.g. many of the cookies family) easy to and feels good to concentrate

This man is next level when it comes to cannabis.
Valuable information for sure. Man, I miss the late 80's floral Haze. Particularily Sensi's Silver Haze. We'd smoke that gear inside bars because it had such an exotic scent it didnt smell like typical cannabis. NL5 and the Durban Poison with its black licorice flavor and 3 hr high. Most things labelled Haze these days actually contain no Haze, or its been watered down with hybridization. Piff, or Black Haze out of NY is another well known floral Haze cultivar. Im running a few CSI Durban Poison S1's outdoors this yr, looking for that late 80's nostalgia.

I know that everyone will have different opinions about what I'm going to say and maybe not but in 2008 I've had a serious injury that I had fallen 20ft and lost my taste and smell and 3/4 of my hearing. I was on meds from 2008 up until 2019 that's were I got tired 😫😩of dealing with doctors that 😒put me on this heavy doses of meds and all of sudden take them away from not just me but plenty of good people who needs this to be able to function well 2019 after Christmas I decided I had enough that I would start growing my own medical smoke well I've watched a learned a lot from great people like yourself and many others but I truly don't know why or how but smoking cannabis anymore truly seriously don't get me high nor do I feel that experience of it and truly would love to know why but listen I've talked enough about this situation God bless you and your family and Definitely look forward for more videos

nice discussion.. I have a grower question: is removing sugar leafs in week 5 of flowering harmful to the plant? Its emergency bro... no good weed here on the streets... only synthetic shit!! The fear is that plant may turn hermie or stop bud developing. I mean a case where one didn't remove much leafs in week 3 to defoliate... so plant has still lots of. bigger leaves.
