i finally found it! i had this on VHS and my best friend and i were totally obsessed with Duran Duran(Nick was our fav) i drove my Mum crazy watching this over and over and over...i also remember being SO excited to find a special magazine devoted to DD in my mailbox..we screamed with joy...ah,those were great days.and i finally got to see them in 2005.A dream came true. :)

Well, did he take it? If so, what a break through. I wish I could figure out how to send John some flowers for his birthday. You know you can send them fan mail through the british royal mail. My flowers woul never make it that way, though. I used to be so "in love" with Simon when I was 15-16, too.
Love Erica's boots, dang isn't she lucky. She's always interviewing them. Gets to be so close to them, face to face, and all. I'd be blushing! I've actually seen her as a backup singer for them, too. I think during the "Big Thing" tour.
I'm the girl who attacked Simon that day, ran in and shoved Erica Ehm out of the way and hugged him, got dragged away by six cops, lol. 29 years ago tomorrow!!! And they had to take me back inside afterwards, where I got meet and have my picture taken with JD Roberts, who was my favourite VJ at the time.
Emotions make us do crazy things and there’s a million girls that would have done exactly the same. 😁 I was a very reserved teenager, can’t say I would have tried that, but it’s the squeaky wheel that gets the oil, isn’t it?! Probably one of the best things you’ve ever done in your life, yes? So can’t say that I blame you...DD were and still are a gorgeous and talented band of musicians. They appreciate their fans and that’s why they’re loved the world over. 🌈🇦🇺💪🏼

Roger left because he was exhausted after the massive US tour in the 1985/6 and the group spilt in two so he was stuck in the middle. Andy left for some family personal reasons as his Father wasn't well as he had cancer and unfortunately came back afew years later in 2007 and died. Andy's wife took postnatal depression and one particular band member was always getting his own way on the tracks as Andy didn't want Tiberland or Justin Timberlake collaborating on the Red Carpet album and he was right it should have been a brilliant album but it as just ok i don't blame him walking away one bit family come first as he missed his wife and children.
Actually there wasn't any DD tour in 1985 and except for their Live Aid appearance and the recording of their James Bond theme they spent that year separately recording the projects Arcadia and The Power Station (the latter had a mini-tour in the USA)! And FYI Roger Taylor didn't get stuck in the middle since he was part of the band Arcadia and recorded the album with Nick and Simon in Paris, France!
I didn't know that for Andy.. But why did they then act like he was gone because he wanted to?? And also john said in his book that he left them to join a new band without saying a word to them..
Nick is so very proud when he talks about his daughter. I don´t picture him with a kid, but I´m pretty sure he´s an awesome dad.
He is. For sure.
In the "Three to get ready" documentary, they show him with the baby, it's so adorable!
You need to watch.

You can hear me screaming, 'Simon take it please!' hahaha I'd written him a letter the night before.
What did the letter say?
Try to imagine...

Nick Rhodes at 6:59 is so fucking ignorant : Terry Bozzio was the drummer in Missing Persons, not the bass player!
I think he said Terry Bozzio AND the bass player from Missing Persons. Perhaps he didn't know the bass players name.
