People always be asking what the best weapon is cause they want an opinion on what THEY should use, so it makes only some sense to ask another player since what you'll like might not be the same as them. In Nioh 2, every weapon is viable, just pick what you enjoy and learn. What cowboy said about not using your secondary weapon is only true if you're build focused and not a technical player. This game supports many different playstyles so don't feel pressured into playing a specific way if you don't want to.

I just finished the new DLC on DotD and now starting DotW - just wondering: Should I switch out my gear for ethereal directly? Or is it better to farm a set of ethereal first? Currently running a Yoshitsune set around +18 and really unsure what the right move would be now :/
I'd suggest getting enough for a set, even if the pieces are all over the place, strategist benz was doing fine in Wise for me, ethereal just makes you clap.

I made another discovery, though it may already be known to some. You can get (in dream of the wise of course) mystic dyad on divine gear because of course as if there wasn't enough to worry about

Hello guys! I saw in the video that you upgrade your courage beyond 99 (200 9:41). You need to be in the way of the wise in order to pass the hard cap? Thanks
yes , you need unlock way of the wise for that cap to increase
My cap was 99 dotdemon then i got to dream of the Wise and now i can get past 99 stats, so its during dotWise, NOT at the "End" of DotWise
I got a Yasakani Magatama level 13, and only 3 tries I got Lucky drop equipment armor, luck drop accessory and lucky drop weapon..Could be interesting to see if it is at all worth it..
Maybe this is just on mobile, but RUclips is only showing 2 hours of the stream. It skips the first hour or so. Kind of weird.

guys how do i unlock dotd/dotw? ive done all main missions on dots but nothing comes up, no final mission with Otakemaru??
They are dlc exclusive
DotDemon and Wise is unlocked thru 2nd dlc and DotNioh is unlocked thru 3rd/Final dlc, or so i thought
I know I’m late to the party. But when you pulled that fist weapon with the corruption grace, couldn’t you put this in your secondary slot, use a different weapon with corruption and still get the bonuses? If so then it really wouldn’t be a waste right or am I missing something?
No you cant, you can only imbue elements but its low compared to elemental/corruption weapons
When fighting Saito, the music sounds like slower version of Ryu’s stage music from Street Fighter 2

What seriously? You can use other weapons on a Stamina build? How do you do that? Would be nice to get Profiency on the other weapons so i can get these other sets from Dojo Missions
I want to be a full blood scampas as my character, with a splitstaff and a Kusarigama
I got a scroll of the wise with an ultimate stamina stat it says it gives aa toughness and aa agility and I have the stamina so I put it on but my toughness and agility stays the same... any ideas how this works?
It unlocks the ability to have those stats, you still need to get the associated toughness or low enough weight to hit the AA thresholds

Unfortunately you can't. Corruption and purity can only be found on a weapon when it's created.

yes it is lightning damage after all
Lightning can be stacked with "shock accumulation vs enemy" cause lightning=Shock

@@FightinCowboy it was a joke, a harken to the first game where so many people used that, but I digress. I'm loving my fist weapon and onmyo setup lol, tbh, there really isn't any build videos being made, from my search earlier.
I'm 1 piece away from being done with mine, farming perfect grace sets is a whole nother endevor compared to Demon since it's all drops and no crafts.
@@FightinCowboy I know, I've gotten some really nice claws immediately after doing the dlc and jumping in DotW, DotD feels really easy, like they needed the tar off it. I'm barely over 300 and wreck the whole mode. I did not know all I had to do was clear the last main mission in "Afterglow" so I've wasted a day about .... DotD, :( it's okay

how different or difficult is nioh 2 dream of the wise vs nioh way of the wise.
If you managed to defeat Otakemaru on DOTD, you'll do just fine at the beginning. You'll have to upgrade to ethereal gear, though. There is a luck enchantment you can temper your accessory with. It increases the chances of you getting armor you wear as a drop. It's insanely useful if you have a specific build so you can upgrade

Interesting. How does it work? Do you get the same pieces you wear with the same special effects on them or what do you get?
@@xeroeddie Everything changes except for the armor itself. If you have divine ninja armor for instance, it increases the chance of dropping ninja armor. But it can be common rarity and completely different rolls

Builds don't just happen instantly on Dream of the Wise, I need a proper set first mate.
@@FightinCowboy I've been thinking and I think susano'o would work well since it's kinda like tonfas where it does massive consecutive attacks and ki dmg . Still working on mine though

Sure if I was playing on the base difficulty. We're on the equivalent of NG+3, I need fists that will work with my set bonus to be viable.
