the "keep you in the dark" was horrifyingly close to the original. Loved the sound of your voice on the rest though, great job! What control over grit, I'm currently wrestling with this song aswell it's damn hard to pull off

Yes, It may not seem so but it is actually pretty hard to get that exact amount of grit and attitude to pull this song. Keep going though, it's a great feeling to nail this kind of singing! Thanks for your comment, buddy!🙏

Do you have any tip how to stay open in throat when going to those high screams at the end? Im always closing too much so it falls into head voice. I have no problem belting with distortion, but i have problem with very high screaming. Its not about loudness for me. How do you keep open?

Hey Lukas, pitch change shouldn't affect the throat opening at all, if your throat space shortens as you ascend it means that your larynx is being pulled higher. The "falls into head voice" situation you describe happens for the same reason. In order to get higher and maintain power you need to have some vocal compression going on.
Check my relative video about that matter :)
From that point onwards, the screaming is created by changing the balance between the vocal muscle you use and the airflow. Again it's all explained in my vocal compression videos.

Although it's a tricky and advanced subject, nothing that can't be fixed ;)

Which technique is you are doing at distortion vocals? Is it rasp ?

Thanks for your question. It is always rasp, but in every song it's a modified version to suit the style I'm singing in. This one is more of a throaty rasp and one that needs extra caution, as it is very easy to dry your throat up and start feeling all scratchy if done incorrectly. Cheers!
