@8:25 - I love that little screw driver. We get them at work for free and I use it all the time. I am a lineman for a cable company out in New Jersey and that little thing is very nice and a very good buy and anyone who buys it will be happy. I use it when splicing cable or when working on the amps up on the pole. They are the perfect size, I used to carry 2-3 different one but since we started using this little screw driver it is the only one that I keep in my pocket all the time while working.
for sure very hard to beat that icon set. This is just a little different and it plugs together with their whole system along with the impact screwdriver.
These worked really well. They saved my life long story short 2nd& 3rd leg of a 120 motor coil touched due to a loose wire. The tip of my insulated screw driver melted and I was safe. Yes the coil popped in my face which it was scary but Thank God i had bought that ser months prior
If you look on the 7 in 1’s quarter inch driver, there is a white line that indicates where the end of the 1/4” / 5/16” socket needs to seat. It’s a little bit forward providing enough room to get a standard 1/4” bit to seat correctly. Great video!
I ditched the 11 in 1 in favor of the klein screw driver with telescopic 1/4” drive that has all the bits in a rotating barrel on the bottom. That + impact nut driver set + 12v impact and you can’t be stopped.
It’s great just to have it in your edc if you don’t always carry your bags around or if you need to move around different rooms. If I remember I combined rhe 14-1 HVAC with the impact flip sockets. I would recommend keeping the telescopic 1/4 driver tip and use that for the bits. You can tape them together lol
Really enjoying the content and it is super helpful to get an honest opinion on tools. One tool I want you to review is some of the Milwaukee USA made tools I believe they could be pretty good quality but looking for a honest review before I invest in them
I’m giving a company called crocs a try for my strippers because a lot of guys near me like them but I would just advise against Klein strippers or dykes, they’re cutting edges dull very fast
Get the best tools you can afford. Remember “Buy once, Cry once” Most of my tools are used but in great condition. My lineman are new, my impact tools are new. I would recommend to buy the electronics brand new. Basic stuff like screwdrivers you can get used.
I’m just here to testify on that Klein circuit finder @22:52. It saved me a ton of time and headaches today. Replacing an emergency light combo and the breaker marked “emergency lights” didn’t shut off the power to it. Hooked up this finder and after quickly scanning two different breaker boxes, was able to find the correct breaker 👍🏽 And yes, I marked it for the next guy
Do you ever find yourself needing the fluke 325 instead of the 323? I think the 325 has a backlight, min/max, frequency & also the ability to do DC current. I’m torn which one to get & I think the extra money for the 325 would be worth it! Thanks.
That Klein socket set was really cool🌟! I have to admit that Klein has improved their designs and functionality last years.I'm a Big fan of tools, can't resist buying well designed and quality made ,Tools.. Cheers!✌️
You should get a freaky gyroscopic screwdriver with the EMT reamer on it. Replaced most of of screwdrivers other than an insulated flat head and Phillips and #2 square and maybe a multi tool.
for those of us who abhor amazon, would it be possible to get the Lowe's links next time too? just since the title references that we can get these at Lowe's
I’m not loyal to anyone brand, to me that’s a little silly as I’m just a DIY guy with that said I’m 55 years old and I have a complete shop at my house but it’s not what I do by trade. So I’ve got a little bit of everything and happened to really enjoy Klein
Klein Tools 11054-EINS are the insulated strippers I have/use when working hot. They seem like quite the upgrade to the ones that come with that kit, and they do 10 stranded. Those insulated drivers seem way better than the other style, the other style of Klein insulated drivers are made of glass. I really need to grab one of those drivers for torture testing.
Hi, great content. I noticed that when the videos first go up you’re really responsive and reply to comments. I had a comment from a previous video about a Knipex Cobolt cutters but I don’t think you’ve seen it. I’ve tried posting the same question in other videos and even e-mailed you but no reply. Hopefully I can paste it again and maybe you can see it and reply this time. Thanks. The part number that you posted for the Knipex cobalt bolt cutters is not the same as the part you showed. This is confusing because you said you also had a similar one that wasn’t as good. Can you please explain more about this because clearly the part number posted is not the same as the one you show in the video. The one in the video doesn’t have the spring in the middle like the one in the link.
I've gotten real fed up with klein... all their normal screw drivers with the rubber on the handle, the rubber has separated on all of them that i have. the stubby, the 11 in 1, the 7 in 1 nut driver and the regular # 2 PH and slotted. i will no longer purchase a rubber handled klein driver until they completely redesign the handles.

I prefer HF icon mini ratchet set over any other mini. Carry case is super convenient

@@americanelectrician sounds great I’m excited for it! Thank you!
I went with the beefed up version of the Klein mod box. 3/8 version. Added that to my bag, and it’s been a game changer
Klein insulated set or knipex comfort grip if you had to choose for a homeowner?

What’s the depth of those Modboxes from Klein? I have a Husky workbench with a real shallow drawer. I’d like to put them in there.
The 6” nut drivers from Klien have hollowed shafts and also a hex on the end to fit a wrench on for some extra torque, they are well worth it
I'm getting that hollow socket set today. That's seriously gonna save weight in hvac service bag while also adding g more functionality

Agreed! They’ve been stepping it up a ton lately
I have found that the craftsman number 2 phillips is the best phillips screw driver. Takin out many of a stripped screws

Toughbuilt box levels a cool idea until I held the thing, it’s massive. Hopefully they can shrink that thing down

No problem 👍
im trying to figure out what you use a stubby for on a ceiling fan tho
Fr? I use them like every other fan lol
let's not forget the toughbuilt packouts
Yes bro! I’m working on a video for them now
Seems like that sliding level should turn and do 45 and 90. Seems like a missed opportunity
Kind of surprised I don't see anybody using Picquic screwdrivers I think they're pretty awesome
I’ll put them on the list to check out!
@@americanelectrician that's good to hear I don't think you'll be disappointed my friend 🙂
Torque test channel showed that 12 point sockets are a meme only and 6 point are superior to avoid nut rounding.
Just a diy'er, but I've never heard of anyone liking the 12points over a 6
@@abelvalle6188 a lot of professionals do. May be product hype as opposed to some kind of materially better product.
12 point is only ever useful if used on a low torque bolt in a tight space.
The only other brand I’d trust over Klein is Wera
Wen are you dropping new merch
I need to soon
I mad they moved to Lowe's. Home depot is closer for me. My tools got stolen I bought all Milwaukee tools
Yeah I had the opposite problem

Die Kompact-Bolzenschneider von Knipex gibt es mit unterschiedlich abgewinkelten Köpfen, vielleicht liegt es daran.
I feel like this video is late. All the other eletrician/maintenance channels covered all these a long time ago
I get what you’re saying but also people seem to be interested in it
If you know tools in that you would know them holes are for tethers......
Klein in the UK isn't very popular it's way over price here double what you pay for knipex
Basically opposite of USA/canada
I would say Knipex isn’t much more expensive for most stuff
A lot of the tools that are used or could be used for the same purposes 😅
100%. This was to show the possibilities of each
Six point sockets are much better for something you might use on an impact.
True!
If ur a commercial electrician u need a roto split. Ppl will get all upset with you if you’re stripping mc without it

It’s the nut driver

@@americanelectrician i think he means not forged, not sure though
Stamped tools are made by cutting and shaping metals with a machine press and they aren’t as strong as forged tools.
