Misumaru : Literal God who crafts Magitama (Izanagi Objects) and the creator of the Ying Yang Orb. Original owner of the dragon gems in the mountain and seeks to stop the excavation. Megumu : Chief of Crow Tengu who can control the starry skies. Capitalizes the dragon gems. Chitama : An almost disappearing God until she got faith due to the hit trading of the Ability Cards she co-created with Megumu. I mean probably Mirumasu is the strongest so she's the hardest :DDD
So that's the canon explanation of why Chitama is easy and why Misumaru is hard? Ah, and guess we maybe found who made the weapon of Reimu in Windows era?
I love how despite the whole aesthetic on this stage and Chimata is rainbow, there are still more contrast than the entirety of wbawc's Stage 4 and EX lmao. Also what's up with Blue + Rainbow combo anyways, i've seen designs using that combo (Hers, Tenshi, and charas outside touhou) and surprisingly they always work well together
because rainbows consist mostly or the lighter shades of colours with the exception of dark blue, being the darkest colour in a rainbow, which is then used in other parts of the design to contrast the lighter shades of the rainbow because adding another colour to the rainbow palette or using one of the lighter ones again could feel out of place + the extra white in chimatas design kinda divides the stark colour of her hair from her dress, (that btw starts with yellow, which is the complimentary colour of blue, also genius) and adds extra contrast which is rlly nice. all hail ZUN
@@boukendabouken2052 You're right, white is a pretty nice color to contrast the abundance of colors. I myself also used rainbows + blues + white combo on ocs too lol. Which is probably why Her design is one of my favorites (along with Keiki and IN Yuyuko)
>Chimata is easiest Okay as Normal modo player, h, (Oot but huh, i thought her Spell Background is just blurry flashing and dimming colors and nothing else, found out hers have lanterns and giant ripple effect)
I wonder if her apparent easiness is relative, coming from stage 4 and 5. Maybe it's balanced towards not having any cards at all, since there's an achievement for 1CC'ing the game after taking Chimata's blank card after stage 5, thus going into her stage without any cards at all. I suppose her theme doesn't really help her case; I've seen very mixed opinions on it, with those who hates it hating it a lot. Those undulating and bellowing, almost comically fart-like trumpets/trombones at 4:50 did sound a little odd, and honestly nauseating to listen on its own outside the game. It's hard to stand up against Keiki's fight and theme from TH17, but I truly love Chimata's design, motivations and theme, as I love the odd and quirky yet charming
ElvenRed 1 second ago A lot of these stages take practice and memorization, but can we take a moment to appreciate the fact that, for the purposes of the story, Reimu basically first tries everything they throw at her? 🙏
I don't think Keiki is the best final boss fight She got cool non spell but her spell are repetitive and the Last one is... Not estetic at all To fight, my favorite is Utsuho, love her pattern
How so? I'd love to know, but seeing how ZUN mainly takes inspiration from Japanese folklore for his more recent characters these days, and not so much folklore outside Japan like during his EoSD days, it's unlikely. But I do wanna know though!
I've played this on normal and i feel like difference between normal and lunatic isn't that big. Her fourth spell looks almost easier on lunatic than on normal to me, just because it seems to be easier to follow the path.
Like many have said, ZUN's art is getting better, but his character designs are not, in fact they seemed to be regressing. Look at this final boss, a dress stitched from a mish-mash of different colored fabrics, it just doesn't scream "I'm the final boss" ZUN's probably got writer's block for years now, he doesn't seemed to be able to produce character designs on the level of Yukari or those early windows game characters anymore
I’m pretty sure Chimata’s character design is supposed to go along with the entire rainbow theme of the final stage, like she literally came out and started the market during the time of a rainbow and says the market ends when the rainbow goes away. The whole design and theme is literally based on a rainbow, henceforth why her dress is different colored fabrics because rainbows have different colors holy shit
Everybody : she is a weakling lol
Me dying at every non spellcard : NOoOooOo!
Her reception isn't perfect at the start, but I can assure you she's going to be praised by the end of the year
Why this comment reminded me of Junko lol
I m one of those, I like this theme, this reminds me so much of Byakuren, I didn’t like at first but then just catch m
thats kinda how its been with new touhous past few games lmao
tbh me @ Yorigami sisters, it took me the most listens to actually get used to and like their theme lol
You just have to fight her several times and then you love her

@@frdla4124 oh, mb for slating opinion as canon then. But is interesting to know who made the weapon of Reimu now.
to be fair chimata and megumu aren't really partners, megumu only used her to profit from the gems

Blue is the color of the sky. Rainbows are always seen among the sky.
It can also fit in any color i think.
Valid point, also while it's true rainbows can be with any color
I think it's nicer for my eyes with blues, i guess it's much "cooler" color so wwww

man imagine being good at touhou, lol.........i wouldn't know..
(also this gameplay looks so smooth nice job!!)
some of us play, some of us meme
What a weird last boss. Most of her spell cards are really easy.
Her non-spells tho can be pretty tricky.
Oh hey that was a clean final
I love this fight tbh
Also have fun on stage 4 :superdying:
@はあちゃまの ぼにゅう he already made one on his channel
@はあちゃまの ぼにゅう as in full run? Hell no im not good enough kek
@Plus plus pls
Her difficulty could tie in to the fact that her power is still restoring, hence why it feels easy fighting her
And then you fight a god who crafts heavenly objects , makes sense.
@@frdla4124 yeah. Maybe she appear again in the future, but more powerfull and with another banger theme

Those nonspells do look a little brutal. Also, When I saw rainbow kunai, I was like “Hong Meiling is back??”
7:13 reimu dancing in the end looks very cute lol
Yes
That final spell looks really interesting

It's Koishi!

a bit worried you were gonna hit the 2nd-3rd phase transition bug on the final card monkaS
Ah, so that's how you're supposed to beat Tsukasa
There has to be a meaning behind the spellcards being easy and the nonspells being crazy but idk what it is yet
Easy, huh...

ZUN really enjoyed the phases on his Boss fights since DDC I think? The most memorable ones are Okina's Raiko's and Keiki's... Now this?
NNN but not in November
The third spell is so easy that I capture it on the first try in normal.
4:04ここ完璧
Chimata is a cool final boss on her own but coming directly after Keiki (arguably one of the best final boss fights in Touhou) must sting a bit
I don't think Keiki is the best final boss fight

The title coolest has to go to Junko, tho Keiki isn’t half bad, she got the army of haniwa
Looks pretty easy for a final boss.
I hate how the stage is just streaming bullets and a bunch of random bullets
Chimata is the only Touhou boss that you can fight twice in two different games
Marisa in SoEW and IN if you count pc98
Wdym only? Can you please explain?
What's the difference between Phases 1 and 2 of the final spell of Chimata?
More knives and/or quicker waves
Something like that
@@rudolflc1684 I found it! The only difference is whether Chimata moves or not. In the 1st phase, her position is fixed. In the 2nd phase, she moves.
am i the only one thought chimata is referencing baphomet lore?

how am i this early
but good job though
way too easy even without using cards
Rainbow capitalism queen 😍
Wow
Is she really easier than the TD stage 6 final boss?
nah
She lacks any really hard patterns whereas Miko has Defiance (6th spell)
yep
You need more mechanical skill to beat Miko. But for this boss you need more learning. Its a trend for most of the newer games to be more gimmicky.
Moon and rainbow? Rainbow night?
Why does this look like normal difficulty?
