- Part 4 is town actions and morale. This is 4 of 10 how to play video of Heroes of Might and Magic 3 : The Board Game. All of these videos are not made independent of each other, you still need to watch them all to understand how to play the game, but you can always come back to each individual video if you need a refresher.
We're rules teaching in the clearest, concise way, so hopefully you can skip most of the rulebook and just play!

The town boards look amazing. Interesting way to implement morale. I wonder if it is used in battle where it should.

If you get the first negative morale from neutral, do you need to decrease the level of your main hero's level by 1 right?
You need to discard your cards in the end of your turn only if you already having negative morale and is about to obtain negative morale again
Quick question ; can we take Town actions during two other players' combat? It is in no way impacting the outcome of the fight nor does the fight affect that action, right?
I would imagine the other players would not mind
How do you play you 2 hero, there is no playerboard for that one ?
If you mean the second hero miniature, you can recruit that using the Population token, they have limited capabilities. Following is taken from the rulebook.
Secondary Heroes have 2 Movement Points; when you gain one, take an additional set of 2 Movement Tokens to represent their MP.
They do not have their own Hero Card, cannot gain Experience, and cannot use Cards from Your Deck for any reason. If a Secondary Hero gains any Cards, place them into your hand as normal. Secondary Heroes are considered to have the same Level as the Main Hero for the purposes of resolving Quick Combat.
Isn’t it a bummer that you can’t recruit other towns recruits?
I can build one structure on my turn and then on another player's turn? Whaaat?!?
No, you can build one structure on a given round. But you can do it on other people turn. Do you understand? A round is when all people played their turn.
Also where is it said that gaining a second negative morale ends your turn?
It should be clarified that you cannot both recruit a secondary hero AND recruit/reinforce units during the same use of the population token.
Yes you can. Read page 11 in the updated rule book. I thought the same thing at first, and maybe that was the rule before the book was updated.
@@conncul1815Page 10 says: Recruit and reinforce units OR recruit a secondary hero. The text on page 11 is more like fluff about what the token does.
@@MammaSomari If you control a Town or Settlement, you may recruit
your faction’s Secondary Hero. To do so, you need to
spend 10 gold while expanding your army using the
Population token.
@@MammaSomari I think the "while" indicates that you can do both as long as you have the money. Kind of like the computer game
