No not at all the producers wouldn’t want a redo of Season 3’s Top 4 they would want Yara to win this one to complete her storyline and have her in the Top 3 like they originally intended for her on Season 3. Not to mention Alexis was the one dragging Yara down this season

Sometimes the producers have to change their plans based on what the queens do, like with Yara in S3 or Valentina on S9. I still think this season would be widely regarded as one of the worst seasons of drag race purely because of the pairs twist, people got sent home because of their teammate and that I think was one of people biggest complaints about it because they had no control over what their partner did!
I think the one who got screwed over the most was Nina Flowers. Tammie absolutely bombed the Gaff-in challenge and sunk their team and then got put up against Latrice to lip sync. I think Nina could’ve made top 3/4 had it been individual

Jujubee was the backup in case either of them said no which ended up happening. We could've easily seen them together on a 3rd season had Yara accepted the invite.

likely a double win between raven and jujubee honestly. Would properly fit the team gimmick that they fit into this season. Honestly though, a double win with rujubee would probably lead to more viewer satisfaction with the team twist and so theyll be more inclined to repeat it again, so Chad winning is the better scenario since it was the fans getting angry that led to the all stars format being changed.
The whole thing with the Teletubbies and the iPad was a reference to the screen they have on their bellies. I don't know if it's still a thing but they would take turns using that screen on their bellies to show things to kids like manufacturing processes or messages from celebrities. I'm guessing that Manila wanted to reference that by sticking it on her belly but latrice didn't know so their runway wasn't as unified.

this is the universe in which Jujubee doesn't become the second/third place queen of every single Drag Race show and spin-off she's a part of and while Juju winning fits with my fantasy, it's strange to imagine a world where she doesn't pop back up on some drag show every couple years.

I like group challenges in regular DR, it's fun to see queens strategize together. However forcing the queens into pairs for the whole season when they were clearly expecting a regular competition was awful. The way they were paired up, with already established friendships immediately teaming up and the leftover queens getting more and more desperate, was depressing to watch.
Once we go through all the seasons, there needs to be an alternate universe breakdown, where the winners of each season are determined by fan reception and the previous winners. Or how All Stars would have changed if certain queens won or not. For example, if Nina Flowers won Season 1, Bebe would be in All Stars 1, the show might focus more on alternative queens, culminating in earlier casting calls for drag kings and maybe even some Dragula type drag artists, all before Charity Kase comes on. IDK, something to think about.
I haven’t watched this yet but if Yara Sofia isn’t in the Top 2 against Chad I quit. EDIT: I’ve watched it but i don’t agree with Yara going home over Alexis in episode 5 one bit. She was the stronger contender out of the team and on season 3 the producers wanted Yara in the Top 3 over Alexis but Yara’s breakdown ruined it, the queens even said themselves this season Yara gave Alexis a place in the Top 3. So without a shadow out a doubt I see the producers putting Yara in the top 3 over Alexis
They shot themselves in the foot. Yara’s breakdown was because she was aware of their obvious favoritism for Raja and felt like her art wasn’t appreciated. That combined with the stress that was season 3, IDK how they expected Yara to not break.

They literally let the other girls take their outfits to finish at the hotel and since Yara worked fast and was basically done they didn't let her. The favoritism and unfairness goes beyond what was even shown, that breakdown was built up.
on s3 I also think they wanted Yara as Alexis had 3 wins so it would be another way to get her gone. Plus we saw how much of Yara's wins were handed out to queens like Raja

Honestly either Juju or Raven winning would've been amazing but I would have given it to Raven just so I can see the storyline of Juju's 3 finalist places without a win. Like no hate to Juju and I think she's soooooo amazing, it's just incredibly gaggy to see her arc of "always the Maid of Honour, never the Bride". I think it's gonna culminate to a larger season win like a "International Queens" or "Legends Season" (sth like what they theorised for Willam in the Challenge wining queens who haven't returned vid)
Alexis storyline in this season is that she'll prove everyone that puerto rican queens can win this competition. Looking at the finale I honestly think Alexis will do well on all challenges and if she was on that final lip sync she would've completely devoured both of them. Maybe because I wanna see Raven be 2nd and Juju be 3rd again but idk Alexis storyline just fits more for a winner
I am a bit confused...why did the final challenge come into play? Based on what we've come to know the final challenges basically never matter. Usually for the finale the judges look at how the queens did over the whole season. Then again I haven't seen AS1 in a while so maybe they did judge it differently? But like...it seems weird to me idk
I feel like they lost a really interesting storyline with Mandora. I though Mimi did better in the lip-sync with Chad, and sending her home would've caused a LOT of drama. Plus, Pandora would probably be better and though they probably would go home before the finale, I think they could do well, even potentially win at the Gaff-In and/or the pranking challenge.... But would go home on the makeover for sure.
I enjoy these videos--obviously, why else would I be subscribed and constantly watching--and I love the idea of judging it all on one set standard of criteria and not the sliding scales approach they actually do it on,,but it does always confuse me when you come to your conclusion/finale; You almost always justify the winner by fan support. While I understand that factors into the reality of crowning, these are hypothetical fantasy worlds where things are pretty fair--so why bring in that element right at the end? If we're truly speculating based on what it SHOULD be, why not give an honest assessment? I'm genuinely curious, and it's also the only thing I don't truly love about this series. Edit: I could totally see a Rujubee double crowning. Ironically my assessment might not be entirely fair, because I didn't watch past episode 1 of AS1, but following this video it's what I see.

Definitely Yarlexis were so unfairly judged the entire season, same as Rujubee. The girl group should have gone to Yarlexis, they were all unity and they did not let ONE famous girl overshadow them like Shad did. Raven really should have won that season.

this is the universe in which Jujubee doesn't become the second/third place queen of every single Drag Race show and spin-off she's a part of and while Juju winning fits with my fantasy, it's strange to imagine a world where she doesn't pop back up on some drag show every couple years.

I like group challenges in regular DR, it's fun to see queens strategize together. However forcing the queens into pairs for the whole season when they were clearly expecting a regular competition was awful. The way they were paired up, with already established friendships immediately teaming up and the leftover queens getting more and more desperate, was depressing to watch.

Would love to see your take on this group of contestants but without teams and in a more traditional All Stars setting.
Once we go through all the seasons, there needs to be an alternate universe breakdown, where the winners of each season are determined by fan reception and the previous winners. Or how All Stars would have changed if certain queens won or not. For example, if Nina Flowers won Season 1, Bebe would be in All Stars 1, the show might focus more on alternative queens, culminating in earlier casting calls for drag kings and maybe even some Dragula type drag artists, all before Charity Kase comes on. IDK, something to think about.

I haven’t watched this yet but if Yara Sofia isn’t in the Top 2 against Chad I quit. EDIT: I’ve watched it but i don’t agree with Yara going home over Alexis in episode 5 one bit. She was the stronger contender out of the team and on season 3 the producers wanted Yara in the Top 3 over Alexis but Yara’s breakdown ruined it, the queens even said themselves this season Yara gave Alexis a place in the Top 3. So without a shadow out a doubt I see the producers putting Yara in the top 3 over Alexis
They shot themselves in the foot. Yara’s breakdown was because she was aware of their obvious favoritism for Raja and felt like her art wasn’t appreciated. That combined with the stress that was season 3, IDK how they expected Yara to not break.
@@N1ghtGlider Yara's breakdown was cause of that and even more. They literally let the other girls take their outfits to finish at the hotel and since Yara worked fast and was basically done they didn't let her. The favoritism and unfairness goes beyond what was even shown, that breakdown was built up.
on s3 I also think they wanted Yara as Alexis had 3 wins so it would be another way to get her gone. Plus we saw how much of Yara's wins were handed out to queens like Raja

I belive there should just be a double crowning since it's a season with teams and the top 2 being from the same team, it would just be perfect to crown both

Honestly either Juju or Raven winning would've been amazing but I would have given it to Raven just so I can see the storyline of Juju's 3 finalist places without a win. Like no hate to Juju and I think she's soooooo amazing, it's just incredibly gaggy to see her arc of "always the Maid of Honour, never the Bride". I think it's gonna culminate to a larger season win like a "International Queens" or "Legends Season" (sth like what they theorised for Willam in the Challenge wining queens who haven't returned vid)

Alexis storyline in this season is that she'll prove everyone that puerto rican queens can win this competition. Looking at the finale I honestly think Alexis will do well on all challenges and if she was on that final lip sync she would've completely devoured both of them. Maybe because I wanna see Raven be 2nd and Juju be 3rd again but idk Alexis storyline just fits more for a winner
I am a bit confused...why did the final challenge come into play? Based on what we've come to know the final challenges basically never matter. Usually for the finale the judges look at how the queens did over the whole season. Then again I haven't seen AS1 in a while so maybe they did judge it differently? But like...it seems weird to me idk
I feel like they lost a really interesting storyline with Mandora. I though Mimi did better in the lip-sync with Chad, and sending her home would've caused a LOT of drama. Plus, Pandora would probably be better and though they probably would go home before the finale, I think they could do well, even potentially win at the Gaff-In and/or the pranking challenge....
But would go home on the makeover for sure.
jujubee winning fits my fantasy
I enjoy these videos--obviously, why else would I be subscribed and constantly watching--and I love the idea of judging it all on one set standard of criteria and not the sliding scales approach they actually do it on,,but it does always confuse me when you come to your conclusion/finale; You almost always justify the winner by fan support. While I understand that factors into the reality of crowning, these are hypothetical fantasy worlds where things are pretty fair--so why bring in that element right at the end? If we're truly speculating based on what it SHOULD be, why not give an honest assessment? I'm genuinely curious, and it's also the only thing I don't truly love about this series.
Edit: I could totally see a Rujubee double crowning. Ironically my assessment might not be entirely fair, because I didn't watch past episode 1 of AS1, but following this video it's what I see.

Definitely Yarlexis were so unfairly judged the entire season, same as Rujubee. The girl group should have gone to Yarlexis, they were all unity and they did not let ONE famous girl overshadow them like Shad did. Raven really should have won that season.
