Just last sunday i was ordered by the pastor of my church to not say anything bad about Kamala, if you do you are unloving, because she is black and therefore a victim, everything i preach or teach has to be "checked" and waterdown by him just to make sure i dont say anything offensive to a great black woman (Kamala), the word DEI is strictly forbidden because is ofensive to Kamala and women of color, but you can curse Trump anytime, that is not unloving. My church is trying to take my free speech, so i left, that is NOT the true church of Yeshua!

Imagine if "experts" treated other mental health issues like this. Anorexia, for example, is so ingrained that a person whose clothes are falling off will still SEE a 'fat' person in the mirror. Now, what if they were told, "Ignore the scale and keep starving yourself to live in 'your' truth. In fact, let's get you liposuction to make your body better confirm to your delusion." Or schizophrenia, where they not only tell the patient to do what the toaster says, but that everyone around them must also do so, and read the patient's mind to see what that is... today... I noticed that churches in my area who came to our home weren't too interested once they were told that we weren't vaxxed. I'd never attend a fellowship that is so full of fear and cowardice. I also resented them speaking to my wife when I was not there, and we make our decisions jointly. They should have asked to speak with us at another time, together. Instead, I regard them as practicing "serpentry," as in Genesis.

My wife was walking downstairs at Church many years ago and the Pastors daughter was teaching a Sunday School class telling them that they needed to be like Zena a princess and a warrior. This was back in the 90s. We eventually left that Church and I threw myself into work. We started going back to Church about 4 years ago and I did not recognize it. The lights turned off in the congregation a smoke machine on the stage and a conspicuous lack of the convicting presence in Churches. Welcome to Pharisee world.

The 3 denominations I have seen flying the 🏳️🌈banners🏳️⚧️ were Lutheran, Methodist, and Episcopalian. The Catholic Pope stopped just short of elevating them.
@@maholla7688 Free Will Baptists have a doctrine similiar to the old Methodists and had cooperative programs with them. We just don't have Bishops but Moderators.And the congregations own their church property. Try them out. Very friendly people. And they were anti-slavery and civil rights advocates early on in the 1800's. Conservative doctrine but socially liberal on civil rights.

Yup, the churches that I have seen churches flying the 🏳️⚧️banners🏳️🌈 were either Episcopal, Lutheran, or Methodist. One even put on their billboard and I quote "THEY IS A BEAUTIFUL PRONOUN FOR GOD".

I joined the Episcopal Church recently the people in my congregation are pretty conservative and disagree with the woke stuff thats going on. People need to learn not all of us are woke some of us are just surviving rather than become Roman Catholics or Evangelicals.
It's been woke since people advocated for the culture over God's ways. The moment they said: you're too heavenly minded to be any earthly good. Nothing on earth is good Jesus said so himself!

As someone who's been a Christian and Trump supporter for years, everyone I've met in the same situation says that "it's a president, not a prom king OR a pastor," acknowledges he is not a saint, and likes that his policies are good for Christianity to flourish. We may not always agree with every position he takes, but we appreciate that he doesn't try to mandate them. There's actually a popular hat making it very clear, where it says, first, "Jesus is my Savior", then, below that "Trump is my president". Clear separation, with Christ listed first.
I have been a church (for xmas service once) that later put on their billboard and I quote "THEY IS A BEAUTIFUL PRONOUN FOR GOD" and even took a picture of it as proof, and never gone there again.

As a Buddhist (teacher and mentor) The Bee is most certainly my favourite alternative lifestyle channel.
No I am not being sarcastic! When living in Austin, Texas (yes, I know!) I managed to have many Buddhists attend my neighbour's church and many of those attending that church came to the temple. Both sides agreed there were no conflicts in attending both, primarily because Buddhism does not make any judgements on or even consider the existence or non-existence of a god, and Buddhists precepts (with one obvious difference) are entirely in line with the ten commandments.
(No Buddhism does not have any gods at all, it keeps its focus on humans; there are some cultures which add them in, like in Tibet.)

My church has tried to stay politically neutral but I'm starting to wonder how one can call themselves both a democrat and a Christian. They seem to have so many opposing beliefs.

It’s interesting to see how many Christians have no idea what’s going on.
I live in a city of about 3 million, and though we are still behind most others, our church is heading that way while calling themselves "traditional". The first is "The worship team", our pastor just decided not to have choir anymore, put 5 or 6 on stage who can't sing, which isn't so bad, since you can't hear them anyway. The guitars are now in the morning service, but thankfully not drums, yet. Mostly modern say nothing Hillsong choruses, and almost no hymns. Sund shut down to twice a week, of which one is now "family night", and etc.... I've looked and looked, and I cannot find any traditional protestant church in my city to go to. I really don't know where else to go or do, so its either move, or start a new church in my home.

So if you don't want your church to go woke or be tied to an agenda, you have to break its tie with sponsors, therefore, have each congregation stand on its own financially like in the early church.

The Church (Capital C) is a spiritual gathering made up of all the individuals who are true followers of Christ, not a physical temple or a denomination or institution. Revelations speaks about the 7 Spirit of the church, one was straight up satanic, and 1 was essentially perfect. The rest were gradient levels of compliant to the law of Christ, so I believe in any one given building (Local church) all 7 types of christians gather. So no one local church is "the true Church", but rather some, or most, members of any one local church can be a part of the One True Spiritual Church, the Body of Christ.

As an atheist I'll say I'm an "inverse-calvanist". To accept the absurdities that the church teachers you have to presuppose; and to presuppose you have to been 'preselected' mentally. I mean, A virgin birth, a metaphysical deity transubstantiating into man-flesh to sacrifice himself to free us of sins that he imbedded us with, infant sacrifice (hebrews painting lambs blood on the doors/abraham & izak). It's all a little bit whack-job psycho cult mentality if you look at it outside the box
Religion is performative, not just belief-based. You can be born into a Christian family, go to church a few times as a kid, get baptized, know all about the religion, and still be agnostic, irreligious, or atheistic. If you don't perform what is expected of your faith, you are not part of the faith. So when someone of a different faith starts performing a different faith, that is a sign that they are a different religion. A "Woke" church is one that has been taken over by progressivism. Their religion is no longer Christianity, but progressivism. They promote progressivism, not Christianity.

I'm well versed on how progressivism works and doesn't work. In terms of systems, there is meritocracy and kakistocracy. A truly meritocratic system has never existed and neither has a truly kakistrocratic system, but it's about what people strive for. Do you want competent people in charge or foolish people in charge. With progressivism, they aim to push for a more kakistocratic system where people are chosen more for their skin color, gender, or disabilities than their ability to help others or any kind of merit. None of this has anything to do with Christianity which said that you should have empathy for people even if you disagree with them.

The three Denomination I have seen churches embrace that blasphemy are Lutherans, Episcopal, and Methodist.
Now I am told there are churches thay have those denominations that stick to traditional beliefs instead of converting to progressivism. But I have visited too many that did go woke.

It is so sad how Megan has misrepresented pastor Gavin Ortlund. She misquoted him on several occasions, even deceptively so. I don't agree with Gavin Ortlund on everything, especially his views on Creation and the Flood, but He is spot on in so many other areas. He is a humble man who loves Jesus, and who chooses to bless Megan. This is what Satan does, divides people who are on the same side... If this is how she misrepresented Gavin, I don't feel I can trust the rest of what she has to say in her book.

Hi yeah, so one classic example is how she misquoted him on page 26. She collects different things he said in different sentences and string them together so she can make him say something he is not. And she calls it a quote! They is deceptive.

I won’t listen to a woman who has misrepresented Gavin Ortland so badly. Gavin would graciously and charitably have a discussion with you but, instead, you block him on X and misrepresent
him in your book. I’m as conservative a Christian as they come and I may disagree with Gavin about a few things but I know that Jesus calls me to lovingly discuss my concerns with a brother in Christ rather than to take words out of context or slander him in a book. How deceptive and self serving. I pray you will repent for this sin against your brother and reach out to him. He would gladly host you on his show and he would still show you the kind of Christian love and respect that you refuse to show toward him.

Which is why I don't get upset when discussions of "taxing the church" comes up. Granted I have my own opinions and current tax rates being way more than 10% as well as separation from church and state. But Christ didn't say you don't need to pay taxes, quite the opposite to be exact.

@joshuaharmon6684 There is more to morality than Legalism and Trying to earn salvation by good works according to The Gospel of Rome(false gospel). The letter killeth. That is the way of Rome where one tries to earn more good deeds than bad deeds or lessen time in Purgatory as the main reasons.
If one is not truly born again(that excludes infant baptism), then one cannot keep the commandments. Repentance(internal) is NOT the same as penance(external). All one has to do is watch the TV series The Young Pope and The New Pope that shows the real true evil face of Catholicism that should make one leave that false Church.

it strikes me as so sad that America has to be the only place people can come for freedom. Freedom should be available to them in their own country with their families and community intact. this suggests “foreign adventurism” which also gets messed up.
When your pastor is more interested in who you vote for rather than who you worship then that church is a state church. In her first chapter, she says a lot of dishonest things and smears conservative baptist pastor Gavin Ortlund really horribly. I agree with the problem very passionately, but her book is shameful and bears false witness against Gavin Ortlund.

In Marxist countries during the 1920's, 30's, 40's, 50's etc many of the religious leaders subjected their religious principles to political dogma. There were a few exceptions, Polish Catholic leaders were an example of resistance and were quite brave as they could have joined the 'disappeared' legions.

I’m thankful to be attending a Trinity Fellowship Churches congregation where Scripture is properly exposited. It seems that churches will inevitably drift Leftward where sound Biblical teachings are sacrificed to a “seeker” model.

There is literally no room for gay relationships or transgenderism in Mormon doctrine. It would contradict the entire ‘plan of salvation’. Don’t know what you heard, but they literally can’t accept lgbtq-ism as it is currently pushed.

The leaders in the central church HQ in Utah do get a reasonable compensation for their full time ministry, just kind of the same amount as a public school administrator would receive. So I'm not sure where you are getting your belief about Mormon leaders being bought off.

That Paul was a Roman born man who was paramount to this change, and that like Moses, Noah, Jacob, King Solomon, and King James, Jesus was a messenger of the true creator opposite of the Roman influence over the Pharisees and other political parties led to the end times which we are currently experiencing today as a result of several other end times as the wheel of progress turns for those seeking power. It begins with changes to history, changes to facts, changes to God and worship, changes to governance and taxation, changes to freedom and slavery. If we are allowed to study in libraries we could see the pattern repeat throughout history as a tactic of the oppressors against the oppressed, the Romans called it a Republic of Democracy different to our Constitutional Republic but you can already see that changing in the headlines.

I have been looking through the comment section for anyone who would proclaim the Catholic church, The One True Church, where there is an actual building and a no-woke policy.
I understand so many who follow this podcast are non-Catholic and may have very wrong ideas and false information about our beautiful faith. However, we have the truth. Prayers to those who feel lost and need a "new home" because no one should feel alone or be alone during this time. I was in Sri Lanka and one of the assistant pastors in a church I went to got tangled up in one such scandal and I'll spare you the details.
