These evangelical leaders are such a disgrace!
Thank you for this presentation. I had no idea this was going on in our churches!
Thank you for your courage in reporting.
I HAVE BEEN SAYING THE SAME THING AS MEGAN FOR 20YRS! I got disfellowshipped from three churches LOL
In the 1960s, we heard that Christianity Today and the NCC were ecumenical and compromising. I was surprised when I moved to another state and church that they didn't know that.
Thank you for your courage!
We need men to report and be involved in the church!
What a fantastic presentation! Thank you!
This seems ike a tidal wave...and some of the evangelical leaders are happily surfing it...not seeing..or ignoring..deliberately the shark fins...and the spooky music...come join us ..the water is fine...woop dee dooh.
44:10 *the wayback machine used to be forever
One if the key differentiators between sound and unsound churches is topical vs. expository preaching.
Preaching through the books/chapters of the bible (expository preaching) keeps a preacher on track with what God intends to reveal to us.
Topical preaching, while in theory can be scripturally sound, the message depends on the preacher to develop, and can be swayed by emotion and cultural forces.
Yes!!
There can be a balance.
You both are friends and cohench in neutral territories
This is really good. You mentioned Matt Chandler. I used to listen to him, starting about 20 years ago. I'm not sure what happened, but it finally got to the point to where it was unbearable and I stopped listening.
Rob McCoy church?? What a joke. They could have gone to John MacAuthirs church and been fine
The real problem with evangelicalism is women pretending to be preachers for which God has not called any!
Including woman preachers like Andy Stanley
