I went to Sally's and they had one bottle left of the Gelous! I had my miracle gel. I soaked off the gel followed your instructions. I hope it works cuz I like doing my own nails! I like the Zoya brand polish remover & I have the dispensing container as well. I like my special products & buying nice products is so much less then having your nails done in a salon even just once. Like you, I prefer to do my own nails. My grandmother always had her nails done & she taught me how to do mine.
When I do my nails with regular polish I usually let everything dry for at least 15 minutes in between base coat, polish layer 1, layer 2, and top coat. After top coat I let my nails dry for 1-2 hours before I do anything major with my hands. Am I overdoing it? Is the reason why it's such a short period of time for drying because these are gel formulas?
TBH I am just impatient , the longer you wait the better but for the gel and the polish you want them to combine so not tooooo long between drying times!
Oh ok!! Maybe this is why I've been having trouble with chipping! (I'm a cashier so any advice on how to keep my polish chip free as long as possible is welcome.) :)
Love your natural nails and the fact you don't cut them all down when one is broken ;) I use an led light that I got at Rite Aid for my at home manicures.

I don't mean so much like chipping but there are little streak cracks underneath the clear polish for me. I really like the way how the miracle gel top coat looks the first two days but then those streaky stuff starts coming about. Does this happen to you? I'm really trying to avoid this

Goes on so easy and smooth with a nice finish for my more "'mature" skin. 😉 A little goes a long way. I may wait a while before buying the Makeup Forever Stick now that I tried this one (and also since the price is much more affordable). Thank you for recommending it. I liked this video. I don’t recommend buffing the nails to the final steps on the buffer; I find when my nails are too shiny and smooth, my manicures just peel right off!
Do you ever have any problems with the gel not drying? This is my favorite polish but sometimes I have the worst luck getting the polish to dry and when I think it's dry the topcoat takes it all off :(
How on Earth do your nails dry hard if you only let them dry for three minutes??? After waiting a half hour between each layer and after I'm all done mine still always get smudged or indented somehow....
@@styledonstate I'm hesitant to buy that 3rd product just to try it. I already use the miracle gel and it only lasts a few days before it starts to get weird fracture lines in it. Have you ever experienced that?
They are for the most part! The hand that I didn't do in the video had a few nails that I had broken... luckily my nails grow fast so they catch up quickly!

Make sure to seal the top of the nail with your polish and top coat!! :D
How long does this last before it starts to chip? Just curious since the nails weren’t cured under UV light. Thanks for sharing!
From what I understand it’s 14 days. There’s a gloss and a matte top coat in a black covered bottle to protect the gel like substance.

Did you use matte polish? Yes, top coat and base coat should prevent it

This happens to me every time I use it! It's super frustrating. And then it makes it easier for the manicure to chip away...
