Searching for WILD RAINBOW TROUT Ice Fishing (Micro Spider)

- Did a quick trip and hit a few different lakes looking for Rainbow Trout and Brook Trout while ice fishing. The ice wasn't really safe on the first lake, so we moved on. I managed to find a few nice rainbow trout using soft plastic spiders. Using soft plastic bugs and insects can work really well for trout. Also tried using prawns for trout. I got some good footage with the underwater camera.

Sounded like you were walking on walnut shells, Haha. Beautiful Rainbows! Their darting behavior around the lures is very interesting, they were really cautious, taking nothing for granted.

Wet Conditions. Looked like you went to check out the usual lake but too thin. I'm hoping the ice is thick enough by the next time I am off in a couple weeks.

How thick was it?
3/4" good clear ice with about 1.25" white ice. Second lake had a good 2.5-3" clear ice and 1" white ice.
