Even when it's a fish you hate, you still have to admire a good fight.

Pike minnows are not invasive. They are native to the same watersheds as rainbow trout. People call them invasive, but they only begin to take over when environmental conditions are altered by man. I fish a number of lakes where there is great trout fishing in concert with pike minnows. Over fishing of trout is the typical reason that the balance will shift.

Where are you located? WA state has a bounty on Pike Minnow. Get paid to keep them out of the river. They eat baby salmon
