- Spring salmon fishing on the Thompson River. Most of the fish were caught float fishing with soft beads and Butt Juice for scent. I caught some fish on Rooster Tail spinners as well. We were only allowed to keep 4 fish under 50cm (~19.5").
Bobber down.

Good night my friend, Thank you for sharing the fishing video...🎣👍
Fish on great fishing 😁👍
Great day out there man. Those big beads with the juice worked wonders. Couple of big boys and a few eaters. Pike minnow puked. LOL. Rooster tail got you a couple as well. Well done.
Thanks bro. Pikeminnow are the worst haha.
Hell yeah Bottles!
Damn you were slaying them. Some absolute beauties. I wonder if a seal got that one in the tail. Tough luck at the end but you got that final keeper. Looks like a nice haul. 👍
masallah, and thanks for sharing the spot, although I have no chance to go there any soon :( great fishing!
Seal bites on the big one at 9:47 That fish made it from the lower Fraser, through the canyon and Hell's Gate to the Thompson with the seal bite. Nothing could stop it.
Great video loved the video.
Good video I’m surprised you don’t have more views and subs🔥
Much appreciated.
That's awesome bro!
Had this same problem before I net them. Loosen the drag just before you bring em in
Thats true. I have my drag pretty tight for those bigger fish
@@FishingWithBottles it happened to me at your favorite fishing spot the one in your first videos from years ago lol. Lost 2 cohos with the drag set too tight when bringing the net out
Another great video as usual! Thank you. May I ask why you don't keep big fish?
Thanks. At this place, you're only allowed to keep fish under 50cm. Bigger fish lay more eggs, so it kind of makes sense to let them breed.
Thanks and what depth are you running your float generally?
Sorry for the late reply. Anywhere from 7-10ft depending on water levels.
Nice fish, can u send exact location plz
Are these chinook reds or whites? I love the content man
Much appreciated. All reds
Is that highway 1 in the background? Won't landmark for anyone if it is cause it's obviously a long highway, but the taller rock downstream of you looks familiar. Lol
Do you guys have a slot limit up there?
50cm 19.5in on this river.
Nice water. The Thompson is open?
It was. Closed now.
So what size was that first bead?
Most likely 25mm. If they ain't eating I'll go 20mm. Don't normally have to finesse these fish down there.
@@FishingWithBottlesawesome thanks man
What size hook do you recommend for size 20 mm beads
I like 2/0.
