Akers Architectural Rendering would love more night scene sketch renderings using various light sources 😍
Check out recent twilight tutorial vids. We are listening to you, thanks Chiliketchup
I love this series.
Thanks, Camilo. When I was first learning Procreate at the end of 2015, I would always come to RUclips with very specific questions, like "Holy crap, how does this selection tool work?" My need for answers was always urgent, because I would be in the middle of a paying job trying to figure out how to do it with my professional reputation at stake, having just gone all in on Procreate and abandoned my pencils, paper and watercolors! I'm still trying to figure it out, but every time I understand a new feature I'll share that with everyone. Thanks for coming along on the ride.
Hey Camilo, a question: I'm trying to learn more about what kinds of videos folks like you find most helpful. If you have time, could you let me know in a reply to this comment if you prefer a) overview videos like this one that show two or more examples of the kinds of drawings I make with Procreate; b) more detailed, single-drawing tutorials that include detailed tips on every aspect of one drawing, or c) short videos like my "1-Minute Masterclass" playlist of videos that concentrate on one Procreate feature at a time, independent of any specific drawing? Your opinion is very valuable to me, thanks!
Thanks you thanks you thanks thanks you!! you save my life!!!
That is great to hear )

I am not an architect, however I wanted to take a photo of my headboard and do some design to it and change the color and you gave me a starting point. Thanks.
That's a great idea!
Now you can just long press the image to remove background
u r so cool

Thank you so much! Anything in particular you'd like to see demonstrated?

I love your voice.
Sho Rodriguez wow thank you! So insecure about it
That is awesome! Ride on. :) I am new to procreate/ipad pro... I tried to load them individually. I created a new canvas... went to the wrench icon, to import into canvas, but I cant find/get to the images??? where do I find them?
Who you're in a project/canvas, that's when you go to import and choose either photo or file. Make sure to have the top layer in your layers menu highlighted before you import something, so the imported item goes to the top of the layers stack and will be visible!
Thank you for this video . It is exactly what i am looking for . But after downloading the image from my photo library the free hand button does nor appear . IIt might be a silly question but is it because I do not have the latest version ?
Maybe not enough memory? Tough to say. Tell me more if you can.
How do you get out the photo though because I think I might need more help
I cannot drag and drop from my Photos. How did you do that in your video? All your videos are great for my work as storyboard artist. Tx.
It’s been a while since I watched this but I just go to Actions > add a photo and your photo library should appear. Then you can tap one you want. Doing this from memory so hope it works
I have tried doing the automatic and freehand way of going around my image however when I swipe it does not give me any options like it did with you, it just ends up drawing on top of the image or extending my freehand line/starts a new one, I have tried both with my finger and Apple Pencil
It can be VERY fickle! It's a 3-finger swipe you need, but it is hard for some people to get the knack. if that doesn't work, go ahead and select what you want again, then tap the "wrench" button in the actions menu while the area is still selected and you will see options to either cut or paste

this was good but doesn't address the problem I have.... I have created 13 separate silhouette drawings and I would like to combine them on one canvas. How do I do this? I want to overlap and be able to adjust the spacing between the illustrations. Thank you
Load each one individually to your canvas then either combined the layers, or emerge down the layers, or simply individually transform and adjust each layer. Morning, I dictated this through my end 95 mask while riding a bike so I hope this is legible LOL
Hi there! Is there a way to move an image out of the procreate canvas? (And still see it of course)
You can turn off the image layer, if that's what you mean? But you can't move a layer outside of the canvas boundary then recover it later, unless you do the double tap and undo a bunch of moves. Can you be more specific?
I find that, no matter how carefully I cut out the object, the edges are pixelated and it’s not obvious to me how to fix that after I paste it into Procreate. Is there an easy fix to smoothing edges? I know it is possible in Photoshop.
Same problem. Some best practices are: keep the imported file as large as you can so the resolution is there when you need it and its individual pixels aren't too large; keep the image you are importing as large as you can until the last moment when you shrink it and put it into place in the drawing, or before you duplicate it and re-position it e.g. if it is a dining room chair, and the image of the chair you are importing can be used for several of them. Also, if it is important to the final drawing, I will sometime take the Soft Eraser, select the very smallest width of the brush, and use it to blur/soften the edges of a pixellated image I've imported. Also, in all cases be sure your original canvas size is large enough--I use 400 x 2250 pixels at 200dpi--so that the individual pixels of anything imported will me mostly invisible to the naked eye. Thanks for reaching out, hope this helps!
I have question sir, The object image free commersial use on project? What name the website?
Hi, no, I just find these images in Google image search in general
How do you get out the photo though because I’ve been trying for hours and hours and I’ve been searching for more videos I mean need some more help
Hi, I need a few more details. What do you mean when you say "get out the photo?" Let me know and I can help you better.
Damn
@Tartist, thanks for your comments btw. Anything in particular you're trying to learn?
Thank you I was trying to figure out how to add Iron Man to my watermelon art peice

Lydia: I'm so sorry but I still need some context for your question. Get the photo out of where? Out of the drawing? Out of iCloud Drive into the drawing? Help me out with a little more info and we can do this
