I'm so sad that after all this work you're going to winter drive it. Especially if it's snowing. Make darn sure the seam sealer in the rear wheel wells is solid and water tight or your rear turrets will rot into the ground
Chalice Blazeup I'm working on it! I actually have been very busy with looking for a house but I bought one last night so should have some more vids coming soon. Oh and a custom shop is being built at the new house too!
For the rear (from gtir Canada forum discussion) 2004 spec V brembo rear redrilled same rotor size except 4x114 , slightly safer on the redrill pattern CENTRIC Part # 12842082R CENTRIC Part # 12842082L RAYBESTOS Part # 980308 CENTRIC Part # 12042082 Plus maxima rear caliper brackets, spaces the oem caliper back to the centerline of the car 12mm and further out out 10mm for the 20mm larger disk 40-80$ for caliper brackets A-1 CARDONE Part # 141506 DORMAN Part # 619503
No problem. I go to pick up my Forester next week so I'll do a video about that. Also currently recovering the dash of the Pulsar. There will be more videos when I make some progress.
InfoumusMOBB I'd say looks out for the things that are the biggest pain to fix. So rust is number one. The rear of the car starts to go first generally. Rear shock towers, wheel arches, and trunk floor pan. Then make sure the underside hasn't been dented too much from being put on a lift or jack incorrectly. Also power windows can be kinda hard to find parts if they don't work. And windshields are hard to find. The rest is pretty easy to find parts for.
Ronald Sieuraj the fronts are PB 4 pots. Something like 284mm two piece rotors. It's a GTi-R specific kit they make. Rears are oem calipers with larger sentra spec v rotors and maxima caliper brackets.

Thinking of importing one to the US in the coming years is there anything I should look for when buying a used Jdm one?
