ScottHermanFitness do u recommend to do inner biceps, and outer biceps in the same workout? or should i do inner biceps one day, and outer biceps another day?
ScottHermanFitness are you a sadistic with those progressions? 😂😂😂burpees are hard enough as they come, why would someone in his right state of mind would like them to be harder
1:18 not using full range of motion 3:26 not keeping your core tight 6:07 stiff-leg dropping 8:04 landing on flared elbows 9:19 not breathing properly 11:51 not progressing with the movement
Great stuff man, I started out with the plank Burpee, after a few months I realized I unintentionally omitted the push up part but after doing the standard Burpee it was 5 reps less than before. Now I'm able to do just as many fast, but the more advance Burpees towards the end of your video would make me loose rhythm because it's more complicated so I have to remember more as simple ones are on auto.
Just out of words to appreciate you for explaining the technique of doing burpees with all possible mistakes.. Amazing..keep up-to-date the good work..👍👍👍
seriously dude u always amaze me. the you found those progressions. hats off. idk whether those progressions are famous workout but I'm hearing from you for the first time. tbh this is the reason ur the only subscriber I choose to watch
Scott just want to thank you for an epic journey through a really difficult time in my life I suffered a car crash 4 months ago which had be in bed for a while I lost my physique and knowledge and ur videos have really helped me to get fit again, I cant thank you enough
Watched a ton of your videos recently since I started lifting again. I love how you are so hyper aware of your body positioning (I'm a dancer) and where to breathe properly. Thanks!
The Crossfit "Bow and Snake" where you lean over at the waist, crash to the ground, and then use momentum to push up is just horrible. A true burpee is when you squat your hands to the ground, kick back and stop every so slightly to then do a full strict push-up, before jumping in and up as high as you can clapping over head like a jumping jack.
With burpees I start out doing different forms and as I tire I start eliminating different parts of the burpee. My purpose is to maintain Non-Stop movement simultaneously reducing & adding to different parts of the 4 burpee movements
Hey Scott, became a recent fan and have been employing your PPL program with good results thus far! Thanks for all your super detailed instructional videos, keep up the good work!
THANK YOU for a great video!!! Your form is SPOT-ON. I go to a CrossFit gym, but I don’t do their classes. I do my own calisthenics workouts and 2 days I do weights. It drives me CRAZY when it comes to ANY calisthenics movement, the coaches could care less about proper form.
hey Scott can you make a video explaining calisthenics vs weight lifting? like the pros and cons of both. And are you able to do both without negitivily effecting gains?
Hey Scott any chance you can do a video on jogging and sprinting and how to breathe correctly on each one, im trying to do 5 miles in 1hr or less and im struggling. i get nauseous and winded really quick. my fastest time is 5 miles in 1hr 25 mins. Thanks Scott in advance 😊
Lovin these jumping burpee's, week 8 doing 25 jumping jacks to prep with full deep breaths before 50 burpee's twice a week, 6.52 is my pb. Should I go for more in a row or grab some baaaahhbells? This first had my shoulder warm but that's passed, and this has begun to kill my calfs. In the beginning landing from a full jump was met with no resistance from my calfs. But know I'm landing softly. I see videos of 100 burpee's a day for 30 days.... ya this guys no where near close to being able to swing that. But trying for sure.
Great Job! * PS 1) I have never seen such two identical person as He & Athleten X. I thought first that he is lip syncing, then body syncing, then mind syncing. Amazing! PS 2) At the high knee I felt that the next level is back flip. I mean salto. Bruce Lee Burpee. Please include in the next video.
Learned a thing or 2, I like to consider myself quite advanced but gotta say I didn't think the long jump burpee was a thing. I started some variations myself for about a year now. One of them is to transition to ratchet squats before I jump up, which kinda dulls the movement but gives you oblique focus. The other is high knees but not a jump, just running in place as high knees as I can x10 , then jump, to push up burpees repeat. Finally there is the Navy bodybuilder type, where I add mountain climbers to the scissor legs open close before I squat jump, totalling some 16 movements, 1Pu, 4Mclimb, 4Scissors, 1Pu then jump
Woooo! Thanks Coach! I really like how you do your squat jumps. Looking like Goku doing Spirit Bomb! Nice shirt btw. Now I can doing my push ups way better now! Thanks again! Have a Blessed Day and stay safe! :)
Scott you missed one version, it´s called the herpees and in this version you do two pushups then a backflip and after that a frontflip. That´s one rep.

ScottHermanFitness do dumbest pull up mistakes next.
YES, some new burpee variations! Love it.
The Crossfit "Bow and Snake" where you lean over at the waist, crash to the ground, and then use momentum to push up is just horrible. A true burpee is when you squat your hands to the ground, kick back and stop every so slightly to then do a full strict push-up, before jumping in and up as high as you can clapping over head like a jumping jack.
crossfit is always looking for shotcuts to get "faster times"
Ryan Deffley where is this article, I would like to read it?
I wish I'd known this a week ago before my elbow got shredded!
we are going to STAHHHT with this exercise
I didn't know I was doing it so wrong. Thank you, great video
With burpees I start out doing different forms and as I tire I start eliminating different parts of the burpee. My purpose is to maintain Non-Stop movement simultaneously reducing & adding to different parts of the 4 burpee movements
Legit useful bro. Cheers mate.
I didn't know it was possible to do a Burpee wrong. I thought it's just moving around to make your heart work.
oh no my bro! There are always mistakes and I am here to correct them to help you maximize your workouts!
how does dropping with straight legs have anything to do with popping up? Those are two different parts of the exercise.
Hey Scott, became a recent fan and have been employing your PPL program with good results thus far! Thanks for all your super detailed instructional videos, keep up the good work!
