I'm salivating at the 802 Ds.. I currently own the 802D (more than a decade) powered by macintosh monoblocks too. This combination is heaven to me. Love this video.
One of the high end stores (now dead) near me had the 801 or the 802's; they are monster speakers, Fantastic bass response. You need high power to push the piston against the air crisply. When you do, it is such a nice tight visceral feel. Really exceptional.
Good lord look at the size of those monoblocks! How much power do they put out? I really enjoyed this video. It's nice to fantasize about owning speakers more expensive than my car, or even house. The amount of careful, painstaking design and construction that goes into those beauties seems to be radiating back out in a way that makes just looking at them a satisfying experience. Listening to them is probably aural bliss.

Umm ever hear of McIntosh?
I like the chrome on the top speaker so I would leave the cover off.
What are the dimensions of the box...please.
You have no furniture but can afford a $30k stereo? Nice! True audiophile, I love it!
Good look.
Design.... but sound?
These speakers cost as much as a car 0.0
Lovely setup, if I can sell my car for a good price, this will be on the list. (Not a joke.)
Are these the top of the line?
@@Richbroth The 801 D4 is the TOTL model.
