Idk if I'm too late on this, but darons line in the song is "well I buy my Crack, my smack, my bitch right here in Hollywood" which reflects off the war on drugs which primarily focused on low income and minority neighborhoods. Daron is saying all the rich people do all the same things right there in hollywood
So we get one more? Sweet. Can it be Sugar? It's my personal favorite as it was the first song I heard. On an old episode of a WWE show back in the day, They would do a show that was wrestling matches and highlights matched up with music videos. Also where I first heard Drowning Pool Bodies and a band I always forget about but loved at the time Virgo Merlot.
I might have heard it on that WWE show! But that would have been decades ago and I don't remember it at all so I think it would be a good reaction! ~Liam
What do you mean Daron Malakian doesn't really sound like that? He wasn't making a funny voice. That's exactly how he sounds all the time when he sings, lol.
Yes you are starting to get it he is trying to sound like Fred Durst because Fred Durst is Hollywood and he buys his smack which is heroin is b word which is cocaine right there in Hollywood but he will never have to pay the price that somebody would with a small amount and no money
Love SOAD. I used to have their entire discography in late 2000'. On another note: would you be willing to do some post-punk, new wave stuff? A have a few really good suggestions...
I talk to Mika about prison reform a lot, and she knew it was one of my most important issues before giving me the song. Sometimes context gets lost in the edits, maybe we could dive deeper into the lyrics in the future. ~Liam
@@DastardlyHamster SOAD, despite their unique and sometimes silly sound, is a deeply political band so honestly looking into the lyrics for them is probably the best choice :)

This is SOAD at its core: Sharp, crispy, sarcastic, to your face
I agree, Primus is just as funky.
Great react!
If i may ask, what gender would you call SOAD? or even RATM?

Yes! I was really hoping it was gonna be "Sugar". Or maybe even better yet "Forest". I think you would love it.
@@DastardlyHamster forest is the best

Mmh no he's making fun of someone, it's his voice but with a whiny spin

Ppl are forced to identify ourselves into groups detracting from our indivuality... this song is transcendent

Definitely, what did you have in mind? ~Liam

Prison song is hilarious *sarcasm in white people * bruh
Why you focus on the color? Bah
Why are you trying to convince someome who has no idea of Musik to this.
Whenever Daron sings I just cringe. Sadly he sings more and more the later in the bands career you get
fym "sadly" his voice is great you're just too much of an uncultured nimrod to see it
You are cringe , not daron
*talks about the prison system and the flaws* *white guy* "i dont get it 😮" 🥱
