Nope, ground level at that distance wouldn’t give an EMP. Especially with the mountainous terrain and them being higher than the original detonation site. Also if it was a “Family” car I’m certain that they would have EMP shielded the engines. Many survivalists do that too.
Modern electronics are at such a low risk of being affected by an EMP. In all seriousness a simple filing cabinet could protect them at a fair distance.
They weren't or atleast Kyrat's nukes weren't the only ones launched. At the ending of FC5, the radio explains that WW3 is starting between North Korea, China, Russia and US.
I wouldn't be surprised if Ajay did this as an act of revenge. I mean throughout the game it shows Ajay getting closer and closer to insanity. They didn`t. It was World War 3 . It was mentioned on the radio in game that any hope for peace was gone. And the nuclear war ending had otherwise been hinted at and even shown in one of the cutscenes. But many of us players did not pick up on the *many* hints because we were "blinded by wrath and pride". In the end Joseph was simply right.
@@ethanblair7351 Though they were trying to save everyone, the way they chose to do it was completely fucked up. It's no wonder there was a resistance and the cops had to get involved.
And later we find out this ending is canon. However, the subtle hints throughout the game was that the land was on the brink of WW3. Joseph didn't set those bombs off. He merely predicted when they would.
Regardless of him being right about the apocalypse, he had only brought this upon himself for allowing his sons and that Faith girl carry out everything in he most barbaric and psychopathic manner possible. Tsuyu Asui I think it would have been a better scene if they redid this mission and instead of having a bunch of nukes go off randomly, have the Chosen off in the distance see Seed be taken away and you see Helicopters, cars, planes, and boats heading right towards you. Right as you see them, you hear Fortunate Son or Have You Ever Seen the Rain by Creedance Clearwater Revival play. You see your entire roster show up, pets and all. There is a huge fight scene that ends with Seed killed and the entire Chosen destroyed. Then, you hear Seed's voice saying, "We have all been saved! Our war may be over, but yours has just started."

New dawn was a mistake
Exactly. All you did in the game was for nothing. You lose and Joseph wins.
@@bigburtha3471 that’s the whole point. You go through the game destroying everything Joseph created thinking he’s just terrorizing the county. But at the end you realize that everything he said and did was for a reason and he was right.
@@ronnocyam7167 what reason?
@@genghiskahn1989 because the collapse was upon them
0:30 how did they not hear the nuclear alarms in the background
It'd leave em deaf
Think they did cuz while Joseph was reciting the verse, they were looking around at things happening like the birds flying and the sirens. But they were too worried about Joseph.
Well when it starts Hudson starts looking around for a second

This whole sequence was freaking amazing. :D

nuke exploding
radio in the car: hell yeah
I always loved the look of a hydrogen bomb mushroom cloud. That halo it generates in the upper atmosphere... makes it look... sort of angelic in a creepy murdery sort of way.
Not just hydrogen bombs atomic bombs too, these bombs look very low yield about 10 kilotons.
I love how they just stand their for like 10 second looking at it
Well... That's not something you see everyday. LOL
Because of sheer disbelief, not because they have a slow reaction time.
Yeah Well if you saw a blinding flash followed by a rising mushroom cloud you'd freeze in sheer terror too
I feel like this game ending sets up the Book of Eli movie really well.
A Nuclear Explosion (not to mention MULTIPLE) would send out an EMP making the scene of driving a car against time, IMPOSSIBLE.
Unless it's an older vehicle or it has Faraday casing but good observation Golden Eye 😁
I'm fairly certain that EMPs wipe out electronics that are running. I could be wrong.
It’s a fucking video game
Nope, ground level at that distance wouldn’t give an EMP. Especially with the mountainous terrain and them being higher than the original detonation site. Also if it was a “Family” car I’m certain that they would have EMP shielded the engines. Many survivalists do that too.
Modern electronics are at such a low risk of being affected by an EMP. In all seriousness a simple filing cabinet could protect them at a fair distance.
I’m pretty sure they should’ve been miles away if they wanted even a shot of escape
@Dunk Master 64 no way even more
Merciful Gangster i think he meant for the deadly zones. I think it’s 6km her completely evaporated, 6-21 is the blast and then so for in is radiation
Dunk Master 64 They haven’t even finished using the old nukes yet.
@@JustSomeHylian and a nuke thats 50 years old still has the dame power as when it was firat built but not as stable or the bomb might not detonate
My English so bad there but why

Wow, shout out to this guy for ignoring his Discord notification just to make a good quality content for us.
“There was silence in Heaven. And the seven angels were given seven trumpets. And there were noises!”
*Steam alert*
Now that is some perfect timing.
Who's here after finding out these nukes were launched by Ajay.
That and I refuse to believe that he went through all that, and came out without at least a few loose screws, especially when he's betrayed in the end. Besides everyone has their breaking point.
Looking back on it now it just hit me the cutscene after each time you kill a family member of his is just him making you relieve the memories over and over till he breaks you
And coming from the future, Pagan Min, how about that
1:57 that whole dialogue sounded intense
Who else remembers the good old days of far cry 4 of pure mayhem and rhinos knocks a car over a 100 foot cavern with enemies shooting at you from every angle imaginable

@115madmax really? Lol
I freaking loved the twist at the end in this game!
Aw who turned friendly fire off
Just came from future and just wanna say Ajay send that Nuke
Now that we know who The Judge is makes this ending even more disturbing.
at first I thought he/she died because I kept seeing comments that he/she died but it turns out when I looked it up rook isn't dead apparently
So I spend hours liberating each region, saving my partners from captivity and defeating 3 of the four Eden Gate leaders all for it to just get wiped out in three flashes?
Like far cry 4, that's the point
I know right? This shit pissed me off. It made me understand why people mail death threats.
Should've walked away like he told you to, Anon.
Seed even warned you before the Final Shootout that now everything you did will mean nothing.
I know do you know how many people I had to kill with a shovel just to get to him and for what

Congratulations! Your Rook has evolved into The Judge!
Despite all the flaws in the fifth installment, one of the cooler scenes ever.
Where did they actually get the nukes from?
They didn`t. It was World War 3 . It was mentioned on the radio in game that any hope for peace was gone. And the nuclear war ending had otherwise been hinted at and even shown in one of the cutscenes. But many of us players did not pick up on the *many* hints because we were "blinded by wrath and pride". In the end Joseph was simply right.

@@ethanblair7351 Though they were trying to save everyone, the way they chose to do it was completely fucked up. It's no wonder there was a resistance and the cops had to get involved.

Hey MostEffectiveCure can u cure Covid-19?
"And there were noises..." *bloop*
Lmao
Ajay : Fuck American imperialism I guess
Or he probably slipped and fall on the launch button
And later we find out this ending is canon.
However, the subtle hints throughout the game was that the land was on the brink of WW3.
Joseph didn't set those bombs off. He merely predicted when they would.
Together with the Cyberpunk 2077 endings, this must be the best ending to a game of all time. It truly made you feel so much after playing it.
I love how Joseph keeps staring at Rook. The hatred in his eyes... Jesus.
Regardless of him being right about the apocalypse, he had only brought this upon himself for allowing his sons and that Faith girl carry out everything in he most barbaric and psychopathic manner possible. They were asking for their plans to backfire; this was not just the Rookie’s fault....it was all theirs, too
@@thecircleoft.e.d2121 Yeah. I don't think without violence and brainwash no one would have believed him.

This Ending has a whole new meaning after The Pagan Min DLC
Fun game, great mechanics, awesome environments, so many things I liked about the game & then the villains. I didn’t think they were as interesting as the previous games
When I first play the game I always wonder why there're bunker everywhere around the map, this explained it all.
It would have been more awesome if the music was better
It would have been more awesome if it didn't exist
@@SirKolass I actually liked the song that played. It felt like it kinda fit with the game. Not the scene but the game itself
