But I once read that Arin does not have the power of the elements, this was confirmed by Chris "Doc" Wyatt himself, although I asked him if he would receive elemental power in the future or not, he never answered me. And then there is a moment in the book "Game Stories" where it says that Arin's ultimate goal is to discover his elemental power.

The creators may gived him this Spinjitzu trick to make him much special cause he doesn't have powers yet but your idea is good too
