I admire you Maya. You've been "shameless" for years but your shameless sharing of your journey with The Lord is even more amazing. I remembered a video you shared many moons ago when you started sharing a little bit about Jesus and I do this weird thing of saying a prayer for people I don't even know or may never ever meet. I was lukewarm in my faith walk after years of being steadfast. Just last week, my friend suggested a church. I looked it up and immediately knew it would be my new church home. Since then I’ve been deep in the word. You’ll be home soon. 🙏🏾.

Beautiful! I love how there's been a hunger and revival happening all around. God really is tugging at the heartstrings of people, and I strongly believe that millions will have prodigal son moments and return back to faith instead of new-aged spirituality. Thank you for sharing your journey. I too have been practicing a 3-day water fast 1x per month and the clarity is amazing. It's become such a norm and I even have a hunger for fasting in a weird way. My spirit does.

Hey Maya! Oh my goodness, has it been so long since you started!? I remember following you for your curly hair content back then. 12 years later still here and im also back in faith since last year. Staying here for this faith content as well. You're a great example and inspiration to me as a single/still figuring out life/studying for my bachelors and living with my mom who is dependent on me, 32 year old woman. The way you navigate and show your life sparks motivation to keep going sometimes with all the chances you took and figuring it out along the way. God has many ways to surprise us when we feel like there is no way out of something. You're one of those surprises on the internet. Thanks for sharing who you are!

Ah, Maya I just love and can connect very well with this video! I too have been doing my own research beyond our Western thoughts. I am so grateful that God has answered my hearts longing for more than how we use the Bible and what I have been taught being born and raised in Texas. I commend you for digging deep and building a fountain of knowledge and love for the faith. Especially after you were searching for so many years! It feels good to have a sister in Christ who I can relate to. I admire your fasting practices and feel encouraged!!! I have been trying to incorporate eating raw vegan meals for four days. It's always a joy to see her. She is the definition of "I've tried it all." And she didn't hide, she share her journey as much as she can. I came accross her vids in 2015 while I was facing a hard time. And never left. Some called her out because they did not understand her path at the time. But I knew she was on something good. You can't win if you don't challenge yourself, learn, earn, celebrate and most importantly put God first place. She opened that shameless door and you can feel the growth, the joy, the clarity in her soul. She doesn't even have to say anything lol. Again Maya thank you. always a fan. ❤❤❤❤
Ps: I've done the Daniel fast for 21 days. Listen it is the thing! The way you can command your body and control your cravings after that is just "wow". The clarity you get is the best bonus. I did 7 days and went to 21.

I've been watching your RUclips Channel since you shaved your hair! i was in my early 20s and now I'm 32 😅time has flown by. You're truly an inspiration. My church have been celebrating Passover for 6 years and its incredible! We learn about the sedar plate whilst eating the elements which represents Jesus and what the Lord done for the children of Israel. This year, we celebrated Passover the presence of God was there and it was beautiful. Glad you are on this journey! God is doing great things🙌

I love you sharing your process and journey. It’s inspiring to learn how you navigate thru the world’s norms. I’ve been struggling with that. I don’t want to celebrate Easter or Christmas knowing the origins of the man made holidays but I struggle with the church celebrating them. If you have advice for these, I’m all ears.
Hey Maya. Long time subscriber here. It makes my heart full seeing that even though you’ve moved across countries, you have your fur baby with you throughout your journey.
Glucosamine could also help with old age arthritis if you think your fur baby may benefit. I have a 9 yo German shepherd and I give her that for her joints. Hope this is helpful ❤

I’ve been watching since the beginning of your RUclips journey & I just love seeing you as a mother and on your spiritual journey! I just finished a 5 day fast & I’m so proud of myself for completing it! I’ve done 3 day fasts before but this one was my first as a mom and it was TOUGH but extremely rewarding. I will be doing fasts more consistently from now on so that I can remain close to God ❤

Maya I use the blue letter bible as well and also the strong’s concordance I have the hard cover and the app (blue one with the orange, blue, and green pages). it really helps alot because it gives you the original Hebrew definitions and all the places in the Bible where that word appears. Yes this is how I found out that Easter is a pagan holiday and we should really be commemorating Pesach (Passover)

I'm doing a full bible read, one each for my nieces.. I tear the bibles up with notes and highlights for them... one day I wont be here and the most important thing they can do is draw close to Jesus.. so I put words and highlights in my bible so they have to open their bible to find me but I'm always pointing them to Jesus when they're old enough to start seeking help and information.... for my personal notes, I do have a bible journal dedicated to the prophetic and personal revelation that is just between God and I... sending prayers and love Mya... I love watching your journey❤

I’m a Christian too however I’m a little weirded out about a few things: treating the Bible like something sacred where you can’t even mark it up or put something on top of it. Seems almost like a religious concept? Also the practice of using Jewish candles- not that it’s wrong, whatever catapults your faith is great I think. Just for me it’s strange. On the flip side, I really enjoy this Bible study portion that you provided about Revelations and also what you learned about Easter. I applaud you for being shameless about your faith in this way. For me it’s encouraging and fruitful. I just fear those Christians that begin to view life through a religious lens instead of just being regular people that are in a path with God.
I wish more OG influencers like yourself give their life over to Christ and share their journey with their audience.

Wow! I received this same revelation about passover and "easter" literally the night before"easter". Only through God and studying His word can we receive these revelations. God is truly waking us up to the truth! Thank You Jesus

Where did you get your Bible? I have a studying one but I think it’s getting in the way of the Holy Spirit! Many of the ones I see on Amazon are poorly translated and falling apart!
