We were created to worship. That was something I had to wrap my head around after noticing we have that nature to fall into idolizing people and things. I just would like to encourage you ladies. This journey is NOT easy and the Lord Jesus Christ was transparent in that. Keep pushing thru no matter the season. God loves you all. The Lord rises us up to the occasion, to strengthen us against our enemies (the flesh the world and the devil along with his agents) May the mercy of God continue in your life. Regarding being lonely as a “baby Christian”, I experienced that. What helped was finding someone eg at church, who’s not judgemental that you can call/text and ask the simplest of questions and it’s not a nuisance to them.

Its important to remember God is not a dictator. He is gentle and kind, and will never force you to be with him. The fear of God is the upmost respect for him. Not scared he will punish or hurt you. He will never leave nor forsake us 💛

I love this!! Jesus is definitely coming back sooner than we may think, but of course we don’t know the the day or the hour. So don’t wait, get to know the One Who saw you as so valuable (even at your worse) that He gave up His one and only begotten Son for you. Get to know the One Who died for you and the One Who’s resurrecting power (raised Jesus Christ from the dead) will live inside of you when you give your life to Lord Jesus. My life isn’t perfect and neither am I, but knowing I have a relationship with the One Who is is what keeps me going. He has seen and still sees me through it ALL! I absolutely love this! Maya, you don't know this but God has used you in my life a lot. I actually won my first camera from your giveaway many years ago-- I was a nursing major and bc I won that camera it lead me to fall in love with video and then God lead me to study art and media instead, and from that I now have a Christian RUclips channel and video business on the side as well-- so to see God bring you to Him and to see you talk about Him on your channel so boldly is so awesome to see! I agree with the criticism aspect. I am hyper critical of myself in my day to day life, so when I started following and seeking Jesus tht went into overdrive and was also damaging, because it created sense of trauma. Still figuring it out! ❤

Great candid discussion. I really connected with the comments about TV and music. Many years ago I had an epiphany that when we worship other humans we don't just harm ourselves, we also harm the people being worshipped. This is why so many of these celebs later on in their careers tell us about their mental health concerns and issues with identity. There is not one single "superstar" that has come out unscathed. Which is why many go into hiding or are no longer with us. That energy was never meant for them.
That's a very insightful way of putting it. Yup...you can't escape the enemy unless you have Jesus as the Lord and Savior in your life. I pray for "celebrities" and anyone with a platform to bring people to Jesus.

It's so amazing to see you both having grown closer to God. It's beautiful. I found Jesus and came back to the church after almost 10y of wandering. Thankfully God preserved me from this crazy world all that while and I managed to not have traumatizing experiences really... But I truly needed God in my life.
I came back to the catholic church after so much research about catholic, orthodox, protestant, etc... I needed to understand why the people following Jesus Christ went separate ways. The catholic church has its own tribulations and scandals, but the fullness of our covenant with Jesus Christ truly resides there.
Eucharistic miracles,
Marian apparitions and prophecies (France, Portugal, Rwanda, Egypt, Mexico, Japan,...)
Saints' incorruptible bodies (Padre Pio, Blessed Carlo Acutis, Sister Wilhelmina...),
Mary of Agreda power of levitation and bi-location enabling her to evangelise to 10,000 native Jumano Indians.
Muslims having visions of Jesus or Mother Mary,
So many other miracles. All in the name of Jesus Christ 🙌🏾
The YT channel of the Divine Mercy National teaches so so much. It's literally like going to seminary. Every Christian can listen in, it's the best thing I've come across on the "Christian youtube".

It’s not just he died for our sins, he started a new covenant where we have grace and can come to Jesus for help.
We also have a situation now where love and compassion is remembrance of Sabbath. - doing and not being lazy.
And not just that. Now we can pray directly to Jesus. No one else. And get healing and so much more.

I was so excited to see the RUclipsrs I follow for a while come to Christ. I had stopped watching so many RUclipsrs because of my walk with the Lord. Wow this is making me so happy. My story is similar in that I grew up Christian but honestly lived that way because I was a rules person and a people pleaser. It was right before the pandemic in 2019 that I came to really know God and actually read through the Bible and see it differently. I’d read books in the Bible before but still it didn’t fully register. Man God is good, so glad to see your lives transformed! And yes there really is a whole sanctification process. Keep seeking God and he will continue to work on your heart and daily life!!
