      After cutting up my Thai, top cutting rooting well in water., mid cut is slow, bottom is finally growing new roots and a growth point as well! Now I have issues with my albo's. I have them in glass in leca also as that's how they were established from seller I got them from.. but sadly got root rot and I keep having to cut back the roots. So I just decided to just throw them back into water for a couple weeks and then put them into a self watering pot. I have better luck with that than glass lol. I hope your thai doesn't give you issues after this 😅

    Thai constellations are actually not prone to rot as much as people think. The main issue is light, they really thrive in direct light which you cant get from leds. My thai thrives in my homes in leca with humidity thats usually in 40-50 facing a southwest window that gets blasted with the sun. The leaves it had were the size similar to the one you have and in 7 months time, its now pushing fully fenestrated leaves on track to push out mature leaves with secindary fenestrstions

    Hello, I've watched two videos on your monstera Thai constellation plant, (thumbs up on both). My concern and question is, have you found that you are burying them too deep? Your aerial roots look like they're buried and I remember seeing a video on monstera problems and one of them were definitely not to put the aerial root in water. Just wondering, I'm no expert, just have done lots of research in hopes not to kill a second monstera.

    • @wildfern
      @wildfern  Год назад

      Hey! Thanks for the question. Aerial roots are totally fine to be potted up, in fact it's often encouraged because they will branch out into secondary roots and bring up more nutrients to the plant. Some of the aerial roots are in the pot for my Monstera albo's too are they are very happy. Ps a happy update that my thai is now doing really well and has two new leaves 🥰 Thank you for watching!

    No time to experiment??? Yes there is , you should have experimented on the not so good roots and took the better root system and tried a different method instead of setting your self back up to root rot …. You already proved your system does not work for you and gone another route to figure out how to prevent past mistake… sorry to be so cruel but hearing it come from another not so good at plants like myself… sorry

    Love the LECALIFE 😍✨, I have been using LECA since 2018 and I just love soilfree and messyfree, gnatsfree… I’m not a messy soil type of guy so.. and they grow faster so…😋👽🪴
