Happy New Year. good revue as always Russ, nice bit of kit to have in your workshop. on a side note did you have any luck with the Vevor Cut 50.
Happy New Year John! I have only used the Cut 50 once since the review and it did not impress. It was 2mm mild steel. I am planning some craft work and will give it another try. If it works out, I will post a video. :-)

It depends on how big the stick welder is Aria. It is not really designed for heavy duty welding work. :-)

It is just a rubber sheet. It does not conduct electricity. I placed the clamp there just to keep it out of the way. :-)

can it weld stainless steel hallow pipe?
I am no expert Shane, but I suspect you need a gas mig welder for stainless steel. I may be wrong. :-)
tighten up the spool of wire before it turns in a heaping mess of a bird's nest.
