I have been a follower of Jesus for 59 years and sat under multitudes of preachers but No one has ever explained the Bible so clearly and precisely as you do!! I so enjoy and grow from your rightly dividing the word of truth! I pray for you and the ministry God has given you.. thank you abundantly for all you are doing to further God’s word to a younger generation and to anyone who will listen!!

Just as an add up trying to bring more light to the conversation, a quick search on wikipedia (I know, not so much of a solid source, but...), the Egerton Papyrus shows dating of the end of the second century. Papyrus 55 is believed to be 6th or 7th century. I could be wrong, and this is by no means an attempt to counter the argument, but I thought it challenged the proposition of obvious early manuscript, although I completely agree with the argument of the landscape and/or the adjective "disciples". Here is the link for the Egerton article: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Egerton_Gospel

If Peter's execution was written AFTER it had already happened (like you think and perhaps you're right) then John 21 is not a prophecy, but adding to Word. I'm a devout Christian who knows the Bible well. But I have my doubts with the Gospel of "John", of whom we don't even know whether it was John the Apostle; this is only a traditional assumption).

Just because it was written afterwards doesn’t mean it wasn’t spoken before. Moses is thought to have written the book of Genesis but God had already made his covenant with Abraham many years before

🦄🤔✝️❔I am no great biblical scholar but it appears to me John as you say knowing Peter and Paul had been mytred and many more died in Neris pogrommes as if to finally destroy the believers, how could God let this happen, burnings, sacrificed as play things to lions and on John stepped in and did whag perhaps was rash he exported people to believe and tl clntinue because the flavour of his gospel is supernatural in tone and manner it proclaimed the Christ as coewual to God as the chosen one the Jews had prayed for it sends a message to the frightened rennasnts that Christ is on a par with God and this despite the unimaginable evil they could find solace and inner power in him. That was his emphasis on my humble opinion a different type of writing all together.
