Quite the place to visit ! So much history in that area both north and south of the Columbia river ! I enjoy it every time I’m there and my last time I spent an entire day at Fort Stevens and still didn’t see it all ! You converted it very well !!
I love the gag at the end! Cape disappointment I think it should be called Cape delight. because that's exactly what it was. I so enjoyed the humor throughout and the narration as you walk through that majestic area. I still love the Pacific Northwest and I sure do miss it. it's so great to hear from you too, looks like you two are doing great! I'll be patiently waiting until your next video thanks for making them!
What a beautiful place! I am green with envy cause I am stuck in 117 degree weather with no shade and you guys are in such beautiful lush surroundings. Enjoy! We are leaving soon to RV in Idaho to get out of the heat ( Idaho is ONLY in the mid to high 90's )....
100 days of fog? No thanks. Lol. I do way better with sunshine and being able to find shade... Oh my, Susan! I totally relate with the mosquito situation. They love me for some reason and I have a real aversion to them. I don't think I'm allergic to their bites but I think I might be close. I absolutely have to stop their itching right away or I'm left with huge welts.
I love how it got its name from the Lewis and Clark expidition and all the names around there like Dismal Gultch, Dead Mans Cove. They were so low when they got there during a 2 week storm. They thought it would take a day or two, and it took two weeks. They were wet all the way through all their gear and sleeping items. it was cold and miserable. I had never thoght about that... when they got all the way to the coast after 18 months they had to turn around and go back! They couldnot jump on a train or a plane to head back.
So sorry you got attacked by mosquitos - ick. But we are going there soon, so this gave us a fantastic overview and some great ideas of what to see - yay!
That is a section on the "North Head Trail." It was quite enjoyable. Thanks for watching, liking, commenting, and subscribing. We hope you get to visit there!
A beautiful area! Thank you for your continued videos.
