    You are the Reel Surgeon Dennis. 👍

    Some greases that aren't formulated for marine applications actually harden and crystallize when they get contaminated with salt the reel will feel like it's literally frozen solid

      I have seen nightmare examples of the wrong greases inside reels. Thanks for sharing - Dennis

    I have a 400 size that seems to be sticking when i try to re-engage the reel? Any thoughts as to what it is before i try opening it up without knowing exactly what it is. Thank you for your service to the fishing community!

      The sticking is generally dried or dirty grease or lack or grease inside the case, so you really need to open it up to see what is going on there - Dennis

    Wondering, have you done any videos on a Daiwa baitcaster with a T Wing system?

    Hi Dennis sorry to bother you, I have a Daiwa ss600 tournament that makes the drag noise (that clicking sound) when I’m reeling in normally how ever if I switch it so I can go forward and backwards with the handle it stops making the noise, do you have any ideas?

    • @2ndChanceTackle
      @2ndChanceTackle  Год назад

      When you flip the switch, you disengage the a/R dog, which is making the noise. That is normal.

      @@2ndChanceTackle thanks for getting back to me, is it normal for the a/r dog to make the drag noise when reeling in?
