Dr. Dray, I saw the Hyaluronic Acid serum at Dollar Tree last week and bought it because I thought it looked pretty good. I'm glad you thought it looked good too. I usually don't buy skin care at Dollar Tree but I love a bargain and buy other things there. By watching your videos I have gained enough knowledge to try some of the skin care products for the face at Dollar Tree. The Hyaluronic Acid serum also had a matching face moisturizer. I really love both of them! I came back to edit this to make a comment about that dry conditioner called Pssssssst that you picked up at 19:57 that stuff has been around since the 60s and or early 70s since I was a little girl! New packaging of course. My Mom and my Grandmother would use it on my hair to detangle my hair, I probably was tender headed and it helped get the tangles out. I don't think they were trying to condition my hair lol. I may pick some up, it seems like it would be good to spray on your hair in the winter to prevent static electricity and a lightweight condition for those with fine hair.

I have a hormonal period pimple on my chin and had to use one of the patches the last couple Days ☹️

I wipe a pea sized amount on my face with a cotton round and am amazed at how much dirt (I don't wear makeup everyday...it's dirt) comes off on that round before I rinse. I love that stuff. Good morning Happy Monday Dr. Dray! I’m obsessed with my Global Beauty Care serums. I use both Hydration Hydraulic Acid red one for nighttime and Vitamin C serums for daytime under my moisturizer. Also, incorporate my Trader Joe’s Retinol to my nighttime routine. I buy them all the time and it does wonders for my skin! Maintains moisture retention for my dry mature skin. Best part it’s fragrant free and so easy and incredibly budget friendly. I’m currently using good old school Olay moisturizer. Brings my skin to a nice even toned balance and healthy look. It’s been a staple of mine for the last couple of years. Sometimes I alternate between and use Trader Joe’s moisture skin mask and Clinique moisture surge or Elf or Hydro Boost Neutrogena if I need the extra protection. No issues whatsoever! Everything affordable. I’ve stopped buying high priced products.

Most of my skincare comes from the Dollar tree! I try to read all of the ingredients and be mindful of what I’m buying and putting on my skin.
I actually use that skin nutrition botanicals tea tree face wash as my everyday cleanser, i also use that same brand’s retinol serum and vitamin c serum. I use the global beauty hyaluronic acid serum and their masks, the sheet, mud, and gel ones. I also use the nobleman under eye retinol and their vitamin c with glycolic acid even though it’s marketed for men, I love it.
I even use those pimple patches you showed and the nobleman pimple patches because they have some charcoal and either tea tree or salycylic acid in them as well. Overall I stay away from highly perfumes items and only buy products with ingredients that I know are good for my skin, at least for the most part.
So far, my skin is looking great and improved quite a bit. On a budget the DT has allowed me to still have a decent skin care routine, so I can’t complain, but soon I wanna upgrade some of my products to the ordinary brand which is still pretty affordable 😊

I am glad I found your channel. I have been dealing with skin issues since I was 5. I am 37 and still haven't been able to get a referral to a dermatologist because I have crap insurance and they keep sending me in circles. I honestly think I have some kind of staph issue, though it was demodex and thought it was acne before that. I have to shower 2-3 times a day, I am always broken out and exhausted and have very sensitive body temp. I used to wear makeup to cover my skin but it just made it worse. I ended up getting sick and not even leaving my house except for doctors. I am afraid of everything I buy, I don't know if it helps or hurts and there are so many things I think regular people should know about skincare that just don't seem to be general knowledge and everyone is always pushing their product as the best. I see a lot of Dollar Tree haul videos but you're the first person I have seen that explains things about ingredients, what might be dangerous or bad for you as opposed to what is good and we really need that in today's world so thank you for taking the time and using your expertise and knowledge to do this and share this information with us.
As far as the Banana Boat Sunscreen you showed and said one bottle is not enough, you are right but if you consider how much one bottle is in a regular grocery or department store, you could spend half the amount, get several bottles into Dollar Tree and end up with more sunblock for the same price!!!! I hate buying sunblock lol. $10-15 is a lot of money to me but it'a worth it to not get skin cancer BUT what about the ingredients in sunblock? I always wonder if any of them cause cancer anyway and if I am trading one risk for another?
If you have a group of bots you can't get rid of, you should check the accounts that the bot messages come from and make sure they aren't subscribed to you and you aren't subscribed to them. If you are able to remove or block those subscribers it might help you but only until they make new accounts and subscribe again but it might give you a temp fix and help you figure out how it's happening which may lead you to a solution to get rid of them. Good luck.

I’ve used the pink round shampoo bar in the black & silver box for 2+ yrs (I used Tresemme or Pantene Conditioner). Now I have super long hair, to my butt! My hair is super soft, super manageable! It lathers up fantastic & rinses fast & clean! I love this Shampoo! I’m blonde if that matters as to my hair.
I get compliments on my hair a lot!
Now this is the only shampoo bar I’ve ever tried or used. That lavender one w/ conditioner no, I’d not try that. A good conditioner is an absolute must for me!
    Anyhow 😊
I do use Vit c serum in the AM before my moisturizer w/ sunscreen 😊 And Retinol at night before my moisturizer 😊 I’m 60 in Jan but look late 40’s. I listened to you Docs telling me to use sunscreen 😂 and I’ve never smoked!
    Thanks for the advice!

I use to work with fragrances. Lip fragrance is suppose to be the edible type since its on your lips not the same as fragrance in face creams and perfumes. Problem is yes they contain a flavor so you will lick and dry lips but a properly made lip balm should not irritate your lips. Unless it has that puffy lip stuff in it. Loved this video. Going to buy some hand lotion today

I found some amazing skin Care at the Dollar Tree and the last time I was there I went and bought some more and I've also recommended it. I found it by accident and I decided to try it because it was only $1.25 and you can't go wrong for that. It's also unscented and it doesn't have a dye so I figured it would be perfect for me since I have extremely sensitive skin. I tried it and it worked great and it changed my skin for the better and I don't think I can go without it. I checked for the product online and it normally sells for $12 at beauty supply stores. It's made by a company called abi and it is the hyaluronic acid serum. It's in a white and a blue box and it is a bottle inside that contains clear gel. After I wash my face and it's still moist I put on one drop of the clear gel on both of my cheeks my chin and my forehead and I rub it in completely and then I apply my moisturizer and my face feels so fresh and so moisturized and so healthy afterwards. It has made my skin a lot smoother and a lot more healthier and I love it and I'll continue to buy it until I can't find it anymore and I hope that day doesn't come. It's the best stuff that I've ever used on my face. 😘

There's a better way to clean your eyeglasses and any shiny surface like the surface of your cell phone or even a mirror without using any kind of chemicals or cleaners. You can use a microfiber cloth which you can purchase at the Dollar Tree and plain water which you can either spray from a bottle or just put on with your fingers. Use the microfiber cloth to dry the surface after you wet it and it will come away clean without any smudges and nothing left behind and you don't have to use any chemicals. So don't waste your money on any wipes for your glasses or that bottle of cleaner that you showed because that's a waste of money. And you no longer have to buy any Windex to clean your mirrors or your windows. Just buy some microfiber cloths and a spray bottle and you're all set. I also recommend the magic eraser dupes that are sold at Dollar Tree because they work exactly the same as the name brand and you get more in a package.

Love your dollar tree videos! I have watched several and I wish the videos were more like ok here's what's good in specific areas, but as I watch you shop in these particular stores I can see why it's kind of all over the place, just like the store, I have worked retail for 30+ years and the mess and dirtiness of these stores is crazy to me, but I do know sometimes workers are expected to do it all and cant physically do it all, some are just crappy workers and some are due to the type of shoppers who are just destructive, but anyway makes me appreciate my dollar trees cleanliness and organization much more! Thanks for rummaging thru the mess and giving us your thoughts!

I love my shampoo bar! It makes my hair feel wonderfully soft and the oatmeal in the maker's formula has cured my itchy scalp that developed from using Head & Shoulders for too many years. I use a watered down vinegar rinse, which helps descale the hard water residue and also adds softness. I rinse that out and finish with a conditioner bar. Happy to not be putting all those plastic bottle, which aren't recyclable, in a landfill. I found the bars from an Etsy seller.

This is why I like Dr. Dray because she knows what she’s talking about and she sometimes goes beyond skin care and talks about hair care and go in depth… What she saying about tight hairstyles is another truthful thing like if you were ponytails and breeds that are tight constantly thinking it’s gonna make your hair grow quicker it’s actually going to further result into hair loss and example of this is if you go to those breeding salons and they put tight braids in your hair which will be bad in the long run. Just like Ariana Grande when she wears tight ponytails and it’s going out for the down the line be bad for her.

Nooo lol I bought the pond's tone corrector & really wanted to know if it was worth trying (otherwise goes in the feet/camping tote haha). I like the Global Beauty gel masks under a clay mask or anything drying, but I am sure aloe & squalene prob works better, and the rose one is the only one that seems to be just a normal humectant that you can leave on. I bought the cucumber but it's got a sulfate, I think it's just a cleanser, but should work under kaolin...

As a cosmetologist I’d advise steering clear of any 2 in 1 shampoo product. Typically they contain sodium hydroxide (lye) which can give the hair that soft feeling. Over time it will irate the skin and damage the hair.

If solid bar shampoo is making your hair unmanageable, try rinsing your hair with a very weak solution of vinegar (or lemon juice) and water after using the bar to shampoo, just as you might use a conditioner after using liquid shampoo, and then again with cool clear water. I keep a plastic bottle of vinegar and a plastic cup in the shower because I've been using my own homemade shampoo bars for years. My hair is three feet long and healthy; people actually stop me to compliment it, so I guess it's working.
