If you read his novelization of the movie, it's basically all of the deleted scenes from the movie: the Manson encounter between Cliff and him by the Twinkie truck outside of Sharon's house, Pussycat's first "kreepy krawl," a LOT more about Cliff (he's a bad, bad dude), a LOT more about Charlie Manson's music career, Brandy the dog's backstory, Jay Sebring's English butler (who Tim Roth played but was cut from the film), and a lot more Steve McQueen, who Rick Dalton is supposed to be the "poor man's Steve McQueen," which wasn't as explicitly spelled out in the movie.
Of course, Tarantino's novelization of Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is non-linear from the movie's chronological order. So don't go into it expecting the Manson murders to be fully fleshed out at the end-this book has a different scene for the ending, a much more wholesome scene that wasn't shown in the movie.

I’ve seen OUATIH once and the thought is was a good movie but I’ve never been interested in watching it a second time. I felt the same way about Hateful 8 as it was good but just seemed like a Wild West version of Reservoir Dogs. By contrast, I’ve seen Kill Bill 1/2, Django, Pulp Fiction and Inglorious Basterds a million times .
