Made this tonight with my grandkids. We went to the store and bought all the ingredients together. We set up all the portions of the ingredients. They cooked it. And they loved it and had it for dinner 😋
I made this and it was great! My 13 year old had seconds. I made a couple of substitutions I used ground turkey versus hamburger. I ran out of chicken broth so I used some beef broth too. I used Colby/Monterey Jack cheese slices versus American. I also had to double the recipe because I had 2 pounds of ground turkey. ❤
Fantastic! I loved it. Made slight adjustments - first I made half that amount. And, although the liquid to pasta ratio varied, it was probably because I used a wider dutch oven pot ? Regardless I boiled more liquid separately and added to it which worked perfectly before I folded in the cheeses.
@@Mrclean431 I only wish it was a lie. As a child, Hamburger Helper was low-income "filler" food for my family. By junior high school, I learned how to counteract indigestion and stomach upset following frequent HH meals the "pink" stuff.
I’ll sub out the American cheese cuz gross lol, but otherwise I’m looking forward to cooking this and seeing if we like. If so I’ll definitely add to my menu ideas!

Wow! She was a guest host on MasterChef this year!
Hamburger Helper be gooder than a mug. Ima put beans in mine the next time i prepare it.
Ah! Hamburger Helper, the food that I associate with learning to self-medicate with Pepto-Bismol by age 13.
That's not true why do you feel the need to lie?

How much pasta?? A pound? 1/2 pound of elbows?
FOURTEEN ingredients? This is a rich folks joke. Ever think that the brand box has season packet & noodles? You only add the ground beef.
Looks high in sodium and fat.
Then don't make it.
