Ive been playing for 21 years and been a fan of Jeff Daniels for almost the same amount of time, I never knew he could play. And not just play but understand the way music is built. I'm blown away. So happy to see him and his son laying a little tune down.
"It's not the greatest country in the world anymore professor, that's my answer..." that's all I can think of when I see Jeff Daniels. One of the best Aaron Sorkin rants of all time!
Good stuff! Always nice to see people who are talented at multiple disciplines (reference to "Harry's" acting career). LOL @ the thumbs-downers. I always wonder how many videos they themselves have contributed to RUclips? Actually... I don't wonder that at all. Most critics are incapable of doing that which they are critiquing. I guess you could call that their "talent". They must be so proud.
astoker06 ...cherish and love em brother...this video made me stop to think of what could have been if my Ol' Pops were still alive..wouldve love to learned together with him...but now Im playing and He comes through my music!! cheers and keep jammin'

The look of pride in Jeff's eyes is very special.

The look of admiration on Jeff's face says it all
Thanks for sharing this wonderful music.
That boy has some real good lyrics. I enjoyed that.
agreed.
Absolutely love this. LOVE Jeff. Think he's one of the best actors ever. And his son has great talent and such a pleasure.
would love to hear more originals from ben. he's got a great future.
just wonderful. father/son makes me cry with joy.
Seen Jeff Daniels in concert at a college close to his hometown
quite some talent, songwriter & guitarists, father & son. wish i could have done the same w/my dad when he was alive. he never heard my compositions.
I’m spreading the word.
Love it ,
Jeff, you are the man,, Your son is his own man, that’s doing his thing , and includes you, as a member of his band.
That was a great song and great playing and singing!! I look forward to seeing them tour!!
Omg that's beautiful. ❤❤❤❤❤❤
That's a really good song. I had never heard it. I looked at this because of an interview he (Jeff Daniels) did on the tonight show.
Wow...Ben has a great voice and can strum some great rhythm acoustic.....Jeff is great at rocking some lead acoustic guitar :-) Wonderful!
Absolutely love this collaboration!
Wow. Thanks Norms guitars! Jeff and son!!
Love everything about this - even the 1951 00028.
This is awesome I wish I could have done this with my father, makes me happy to see something like this!
this guy has it. love it
Dudes got a great voice cool style!!
I became a fan after Terms of Endearment! A very down to earth family man!
Jeff was great as Hap in Terms of Endearment.
The boy's got talent.
Very nice....
Yeah, I zoomed in to see the price on the 1951Martin, $14,900.00.
Fun to watch....
Great song ...Good players...American....

Great tune actually. Kids got a good voice!
HOW COOL IS THAT...
Great
Nice duet.
Nice, and there's my buddy Nick in the back ground!
Great tune
He is a talented song writer.
man what a pleasure to be able to play guitar with ur son instead watching him playing a smart phone with crooked baseball cap on lol
Pretty great
Very nice! (But they need to turn the phone ringers down when doing these videos.)
I'd like to find that on sheet music.
...check out the funbags on that hosehound
Whoa, the guitar Jeff's playing retails for nearly 15k? Must be some sort of rare acoustic.
What style was Ben playing? Was that Blue Grass? Is he on iTunes, Pandora?
There are so many talented people out in LA, makes it more impressive when someone breaks out from the pack.
what are the guitars? Looks like some type of OM-28 and D18?
Someone get that damn phone 📞!
👍✌❤😎
Ben sounds a bit like and reminds me of a young Tim Hardin. Very cool indeed!
Dat price tag tho...
Yeah, $15K is a bit steep--about twice what it's worth
No Shit! I was just going to make a similar comment
Norm should have let him know that it was very cool
Dr. Deth 😂😂😂😂
Jeff just chilling playing a $15000 guitar. I'd be shaking like a sh****g dog playing that thing incase I dropped it.
Norman was hoping for a fall.
Norm should have sit between them and they could have done a little bit of Mockingbird.
Holy shit, that Martin is $14,000! :)
14,900 that is
$14900 is pretty much all I get from this video =)
Cool song, though.
It's Ryan Gosling!
. . . what's a 'record deal'?
Ben looks like Ryan gosling a tad
Thought that was Ryan Gosling for a sec
look at the price tag , Jeffs guitar costs 15 grand!
google his net worth, its about $45 million..safe to say thats very, very wealthy in anybodys standard
It's a 1951 000-28. Need I say more?
Ben and Jeff are good but where is Jack?
they shouldve let him play guitar in Blood Work instead of harmonica. More people would know that flick if that was the case.
Dam, get that foot off that amp !
Jeff has a cute son ??????
nice rack!!
Get Steve Martin out for a video
LOL How do you attract so many whiney subs Norman ? The videos are cool.
All I could see is $14,900.00
Jeff...get your foor off that fuckin amp man.Your driving me crazy.love your work.
hahaha, smart ass. that was funny
I swear the phone rings in every video...
No Jeff, you disrespect that fender amp
who the hell would pay 15,000 for that martin? fuck at
mark justus it's from the 50's. Many people would pay $15,000 for that guitar. Stick to your Ibanez bub.
One must assume wealthy actors have the right to put their feet up on old Fender amps.
get ur foot off that amp, someone has to buy that lol
Jeff get your foot off the amp please
L
14,900 for the Martin, what a joke.
those amps always get a foot on top...that's bad
its no talent if u know to play an instrument and Jeff is average player.
sorry for my eng.
Rubbish
