As a Chelsea fan, Henry is the greatest ever Premier League player. But Drogba was the man for the finals. Henry did score in a lot of big games. His record against the "big teams" was good. Plenty of goals against Man Utd, Chelsea, Liverpool, etc and many of them were beauties. But if it's strictly final, then Drogba. There's only one final Drogba DIDN'T score, against Man Utd when he hit the post and got sent off. He scored in every other final. 2 against Arsenal to turn the game around, two finals against Liverpool, Man Utd, Tottenham, Everton, Bayern, Portsmouth. Those are just the ones I remember. Are you trying to say that 500,000 more people (a pretty small number in the scheme of things) bought Chelsea shirts last year, therefore the club's overall fan base is bigger? You seem to be confusing year-on-year popularity (swayed, for instance, by a Champion's League triumph) with lifelong one-club support. Robbie is also only half right about Chelsea nearly going out of business just before Roman bought us. It was a nice video, but I agree more with Rory even if I'm an arsenal fan.
Chelsea have won the Prem several times, the Champions league, the Europa league, and whatever else since Arsenal won the League. I don't get this idea that just because u weren't a bigger club before financial investment, the fact that u win trophies, means less just cuz u don't have that historical prestige compared to a club like Man Utd. Like what????
What do you mean historically? History shows chelsea have 2 ucls and arsenal 0. Do you want chelsea to win 10 ucls and 20 prem leagues to admit they're bigger now? Robbie states that Arsenal have more fans, globally, than Chelsea. However, every major social media site has Chelsea absolutely demolishing Arsenal in followers. Obviously this is skewed towards younger generations.
This proves Rory’s assertion correct - Arsenal WERE the biggest club but now, with quantified numbers, Chelsea have exceeded them.
I'm from Latin America and at this side of the world Chelsea is way bigger than Arsenal in the popular opinion, I know Arsenal's history but from the people outside England There's nothing bigger than Champions League you need that trophy if you want to be considered a big club outside your country.

Henry scored 0 goals in 9 finals 11 goals in 11 for drogba and if arsenal have a better fan base why do Chelsea have 31 million followers on insta and arsenal have 20
Agreed re Drogba being special in finals - but quite far off overall talent of Henry. Instagram a very flimsy, skewed and unconvincing metric - the whole world is not on it; it priviliges a certain (younger) demographic, and a 'like'or 'follow' doesn't mean someone actually supports that team - plenty of people follow the top 10-20 clubs simultaneously just by virtue of being global football fans, which is often geared towards "superstars". Many don't even have a particular team; many are fans only of individual players - Ronaldo has 384 million followers alone, and Messi almost 300 million!
Chelsea obv has more followers because of the recent success so attracting more younger people so more followers. Clubs like Newcastle, Arsenal, Spurs and Villa don't have as many followers because they were successful before most of them were born
@@sashaw1744 still doesn’t prove why there isn’t a single star at Chelsea I been following Chelsea since I was 12 and they’re still the biggest club deluded arsenal fans will say whatever to defend their club look at shirt sales of last year and Chelsea sold 1.3 million in shirts while arsenal only sold 800k shows the difference clubs fans arsenal have had a 42% drop difference in the sales from 21 to 20 seasons
@Ulisses Mendoza I'm struggling to untangle a coherent point here, lack of syntax aside. One is a volatile commercial metric with high churn rates (those same fans may have bought Bayern shirts the year before, and Liverpool and Real ones before that); the other is a heartfelt connection which, in its purest form, has no churn at all.
“Would you class Ronaldo as a big game player?” The man has the most ever champions league goals mate and scores in almost every final like 100%
Robbie is also only half right about Chelsea nearly going out of business just before Roman bought us. My opinion as an arsenal supporter from a Chelsea family, Chelsea in terms of recent history absolutely the biggest club in London, overall history they would only be just behind, can say yeah arsenal have won 13 league titles and 14 fa cups, It’s those champions league titles that bring them right up to the level, it’s close for sure
Chelsea buying their success, I think we can all agree the first two maybe they brought, but when they won the double in 09-10 they’d already got the foundation from the earlier success and in recent history their net spend hasn’t been huge, not been small but no more than other clubs
Drogba 100% a better bigger game player non dispute but I’d still pay to watch Henry over drogba every day
For arsenal players getting in the Chelsea team, for me it’s a non question really, they don’t play the same style or formation, saka is probably the only one who would get close in any formation, smith Rowe maybe in a few years same with ramsdale but apart from that there isn’t anything that would improve chelsea, mount playing out wide isn’t a good idea, said that from the beginning to the family, in behind the strikers very good player
And of course we all hate Tottenham
Its harder to win the Premier League than the Champions League. Arsenal have a long history of success as Londons biggest club. Getting a super-rich sugar daddy to buy you success by spending huge amounts of money that no other club could match, is not the same as Arsenals successes at all. Consistent hard-earned success over 90 years is noteworthy. Getting your dad to buy your trophies at a corner shop is not.
