Clearly remember seeing this in 1967 while I was trapped in Boarding School in NH. Loved seeing the wide array of stars and musical acts of the day. Miss those TV days.....
Just a great post, Durante, Berle, Crosby, Carroll, The Association, Ravi Shanker and the incredible Joey Heatherton. What a great posting! Thanks for this.
Great show, great post. Do you have any more? Really like to see two shows hosted by the wonderful Eddie Fisher, one from 1966 with Joey Forman and one from 1965 with Connie Stevens and Jack Carter.
One of the shows for the 'WWII Generation". LOL!!! I remember when we were teens my brother and I laughed at this shtick with my parents. Now it all seems so cornball. Insteading of laughing, it makes you grimace to think.
That scene with Crosby, Durante and Berle cracking up is priceless!

Wow great post, the commercials are an awesome touch. Nobody will ever beat Durante and Crosby at being cool

Thank you for posting this. You won't ever see anything this good on tv anymore.
Just a marvelous opening number. The band is really on point and the lyrics are apropos for the season-opening occasion.
Thank you to dentelTV2 for these shows, I think they are great ! I have heard recordings from the shows, but never actually seen any.
Jolly good show!!! The wood sequence was so hilarious!!! Thanks for sharing :D
those were the days
Ha - The Association! amongst all the other talent! Wow! :-)
Lovely voice. His birthdate is actually the same as mine, the 3rd of may :)
One thing great about Hollywood Palace...We boys could always count on them delivering a nice pair of legs somewhere in the show!
They crammed a lot into that show!

Berle back on a ladder again just like in It's A Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World.
THE ONLY THING MISSING FROM THAT MUSIC WAS A COBRA RISING OUT OF A BASKET
Oh a better time fir sure.
so the wood thing....performance art?
28:00 Barely a handclap for Joey Heatherton's fine performance. What gives?
I really don’t like Berle hitting Durante at 8:17.
Vaudeville pros.
