WOW ! What a Surprise !!! Met Peggy Lee at Walt Disney World in 1982 . . . Been a Big Fan since the early Sixties . . . She has it all . . . Smooth as Silk ! I hear her often in the silence of my mind. So very nice to see this 1968 show which I missed back then.
Bing and Peggy's medley had no particular point of view, but it was a joy to see them together anyway. Oh, what we've lost, and will never get back. But we can remember.
Peg is good at that . . . But She redeams herself in her album "Mirrors" which is in a category all by herself. That's where She sings songs written by Stoller and Lieber. Songs which will haunt you forever. Love my Peggy Lee. Saw her live at Disney's Top of The World Dinner Theater on three occasions . . . WOW is this Lady not among the best of all vocalists !
