Nose cam did a splendid job and remarkably the audio hic-cups stayed looped out for good . Not to forget Cindy without any chirp seated calmer than the river below and your voice sounding clear and balmy like the Sunday morning your bird flew over .Wenatchee's heavenly skies.
This was another super enjoyable video Maria - I never tire of seeing all your area scenery... can but dream of visiting to explore. The Columbia is just magnificent.
Smooth, relaxing voice, extremely knowledgeable, very well narrated ... bravo. I cannot tell you how much i enjoyed the journey, the visuals, the storyline. Thank you.
Very pleasant to watch. I grew up in Idaho and Utah then back to Idaho in the Boise area. It was very nice to see non San Francisco type area where I live now. I woke up this morning early and your new posting came through. Very happy to view it. I liked the narration. Think this was 5e first time I had seen the nose cone only view. Looks like a ride. Thank you for sharing for those helicopter enthusiasts.
Been waiting for this flight. It's even better than I expected! I remember the old town of Entiat before it was flooded. You could see Lincoln Rock from the highway before they moved the road up hill. I'm sure it's still there although it was probably the view from the old road that gave you the perspective you needed to see the face of Lincoln, staring off to the North. Looked exactly like him! You are right about the wineries in Chelan and Manson. If you have a yard, you can have a winery! Many of these are excellent and not cheap. If you're going to do a tasting tour you better bring a designated driver.
The narration was great. Made my first landing in Twisp in July. I frequent the Winthrop Airport from Bellingham regularly in spring and summer. Look forward to the next video where you sight see over Winthrop.
Great flight. I have camped there at Lincoln Rock. Use to ride the bike path between the two bridges everyday when I was living at the Holiday Inn at the NW end of Winnetchee, back in 2000
Thanks, Maria-Great flight. I flew primarily on the west side, but for a long cross country, we flew East I think to Ephrata, and then to Yakima (R22). I lived in Yakima for about 15 years and flew fixed wing and hang gliders all over Eastern Washington. I LOVE the East side, and have spent many days at Chelan, which is SO awesome in the summer. Flying off Chelan Butte, it is about 4K above the river and about 3K over the lake. Many times I have gained altitude up to 10-14,000', and frequently head east, with my longest out being 40 miles. Pretty cool to be at 14,000 with no engine and nothing between your face and the ground except air, and see a powered aircraft so far down there it is hard to tell it is an airplane :-) Narration is very soothing and educational; keep it up and no music. I felt a little uncomfortable crossing the forest and ridge north of Lake Chelan; personally I continually fly asking myself if I had to auto here, where would I go? and if it is just trees or steep slopes and rocks, I get higher or edit my route; I know, reliable and all, but my primary instrument is pucker factor :-)
One of the guys who did cherry drying for me last season brought his hang glider along. He started in Chelan and made it all the way to Spokane one day. I can only imagine the feeling of flying like that. Stay safe!
That was loads of fun. Orchards, valleys and rivers what great sites. Most of those back country roads look like 4 wheel drive only. I hope yall sold lots of jewelry. Thanks Maria! 🙌
I love watching your helicopter adventures! Awesome flying, and I never tire of your chatting or narration as it's very relaxing to hear you. I also like to hear the engine sound as I'm really into helicopters and dream of flying one like you.
Great video! I loved the narration! I feel like you just took us on a wonderful sightseeing flight. Also, I’m a private pilot myself, and have always wanted to fly to Twisp, but haven’t had the chance. Thanks!
Enjoyable flight thanks to the great video. Spotted La Fuente, my favorite Mexican food restaurant, on the way out of Wenatchee. The casual commentary throughout works well, and would vote for more of that format.
This was great…. Thank you for showing us the area and the narration. As a person who is planning to start flying my own helicopter your explanations are great and gives me a perspective as to what to expect. Keep up the great vids and I hope to visit that beautiful area one day. Cheers!
That was a very enjoyable flight Maria. Thank you for taking the time to edit and stream your videos. Your narration always makes your videos more enjoyable and I always learn something new. Thank you.
"...same as this only backwards." would look completely different from our points of view. We'd see the other side of the hills, things that were shaded or in shadows would be visible. If we didn't know it was back-tracking, it would be a totally new experience!
Amazing videos! Great narration, too. I got linked to you from watching Nick Zentner’s videos. This is great to share with friends wanting to move to our state. Thank you for the work you’ve put into your channel & sharing it with us. (Jenny from Redmond, WA.)
OK, 2 things. 1. The house at 2:00 in, on the edge of the mountain is incredible! 2. It's only a 2 hour drive there? Seems like it'd be a lot more, looking at all the mountains and all. Thanks again for a great flight!
OMG, this is the most relaxing thing i have watched, beautiful scenery, calm and v informative narration. I don't comment on videos but here you go! (edit: and i susbscribed)
👍 Adding to the stack of compliments on this narration @Maria - the level, tone, cadence or pace is just spot-on! While I do like some aircraft sound, I'm not missing it and; just the subdued wind noise seems to blend the visual and your narration, very well - the _whole,_ is greater than the sum of it's parts. As an aside, while music _can_ play a good role - I think it gets overused and abused and, it often doesn't seem to be properly level attenuated for more dynamic and greater range of sound systems (as though it's only being monitored over a phone, alone) - not only does this make sound levels vary dramatically - it often is akin to listening to music while also watching and listening to TV, for example - it becomes distracting and, obtrusive. /dissertation 😉 Thank you, again! Cheers-
I agree that there's a place for music in videos. RUclips provides us with royalty free music and actually pushes us to use it. But it's so OVERused sometimes. If I'm not going to narrate, I might use music if I can find something appropriate. Otherwise, I'd prefer to leave it out. Easier all around.
Great video! Thanks Maria for sharing this; you have a beautiful narration voice that pairs well with your flying skills. I really like the front view without any obstructions from the cabin. i got hooked on your videos from watching Nick Over the Rocks, glad i found more of what you have posted, looking forward to more. BTW: do you have vids of flights over N. Idaho?
Very enjoyable. Running your video on the left of my monitor with Google Maps in perspective view on the right. Lots of fun picking out landmarks while listening to your commentary. My wife is from Waterville, so know the east side of the Columbia along US 2 really well, and US 97A reasonably well as far as Chelan. Have been wanting to drive SR 971 for years, so it was nice to get a preview from the air! Do you do charter flights? Sometime when we're visiting Waterville and you're not too busy, maybe we can arrange something.
If you’re doubling over narration, I would still like to hear the radio calls. If you could switch to radio calls and then back to narration that be great.
I can’t get enough of your videos!! The longer the better. Thanks for your experience, and knowledge!
Nose cam did a splendid job and remarkably the audio hic-cups stayed looped out for good . Not to forget Cindy without any chirp seated calmer than the river below and your voice sounding clear and balmy like the Sunday morning your bird flew over .Wenatchee's heavenly skies.
Beautiful. Very relaxing & therapeutic to watch. Thank you.
Love the narration, didn’t miss the engine noise at all! That’s a good way to film cross country with narration and no music. Great flight.
Thank you.
I'm completely mesmerized by you, your flying and the helicopter scenery, thank you for posting.
Excellent video. Great footage and natural and relaxed narration! You could become the Bob Ross of the skies...
You have a very pleasant speaking voice! We enjoyed the flight😁🚁

Very interesting to see areas from the air that I have driven many times.
The narration was great. Made my first landing in Twisp in July. I frequent the Winthrop Airport from Bellingham regularly in spring and summer. Look forward to the next video where you sight see over Winthrop.
the Methow I loved the rocked rivers and Winthrop.
Very cool! You flew right over my property on the Methow River. 👍
Great flight. I have camped there at Lincoln Rock. Use to ride the bike path between the two bridges everyday when I was living at the Holiday Inn at the NW end of Winnetchee, back in 2000

That was loads of fun. Orchards, valleys and rivers what great sites. Most of those back country roads look like 4 wheel drive only. I hope yall sold lots of jewelry. Thanks Maria! 🙌
Thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed it!
One of my favorite parts of the state. Wonderful views. Thanks!
Fascinating. Watched it the whole way through, thank you for sharing. So different to life here in England!
I can't believe the length of the train in the town next to the river. It is actually moving. x
Another great video, we enjoyed nosecam, nosecam's sound and your narration, well done.
I love your videos, especially this one with your soft narrative. Thanks for no music. When I think I miss Wenatchee, I watch your videos.
Hey, Tim! Nice to see you! And thanks. I'll try to keep making them.
I love watching your helicopter adventures! Awesome flying, and I never tire of your chatting or narration as it's very relaxing to hear you. I also like to hear the engine sound as I'm really into helicopters and dream of flying one like you.

Enjoyable flight thanks to the great video. Spotted La Fuente, my favorite Mexican food restaurant, on the way out of Wenatchee. The casual commentary throughout works well, and would vote for more of that format.
I enjoyed the video. Manson was my home town, sure looks different than in the 50s and 60s.
This was great…. Thank you for showing us the area and the narration. As a person who is planning to start flying my own helicopter your explanations are great and gives me a perspective as to what to expect. Keep up the great vids and I hope to visit that beautiful area one day. Cheers!
Not boring at all. Thank you, it was awesome!

I really enjoyed that and your narration is excellent! Thank you, Maria.

Driving there takes you along the Columbia River and then up the Methow River. No mountain climbing.
I really enjoyed this video. The narration was excellent. Great job !
Thanks!
A loooong time ago I remember Winthrop having dirt roads thru town. Even though you were on HWY 20.
Great scenery and very interesting narration Maria! Nice voice for narration!
Very enjoyable. Thanks.
I agree with Andrew

Thank you very much!
Beautiful!!
Great video, Maria! Would love to see a flight to Stehekin!
Lincoln Rock is directly across the from the park. I was terribly disappointed when I saw it.
Amazing video!
I liked the Cindy Editing part!
The dirt roads in the mountains are probably old logging roads.
that was so relaxing to watch.
2:47 Senator George Sellar Bridge. Pedestrian bridge Old Wenatchee Bridge. #SkyBaum
OMG, this is the most relaxing thing i have watched, beautiful scenery, calm and v informative narration. I don't comment on videos but here you go! (edit: and i susbscribed)
Glad you enjoyed it!
very good video
Nick showed a portion of this video on his show today and gave your site and videos a big shout out. Thought you’d like to know.
Thanks very much! Good to know. I'm glad he's finding the footage useful.

No, I haven't done any flying there. At least not yet.
Very cool
Commendable.
awesome maria thank you - thanks for no music
Maria...how fast are you going in miles per hour? Beautiful video!
I usually cruise at about 120 mph.
We like the blade cherping..

I'm avoiding charter flights these days because of the virus and my helicopter quickly approaching overhaul time. Maybe after overhaul, in 2022.
@@FlyingMAir Thanks, we'll consider it. We may make our retirement move back to Washington in 2022 or so.
Used to deliver for fedex ground in twisp
That's a long drive from nearly anywhere. Were you delivering out of Wenatchee?
Yea. On days i had do go to Mazama, add every creek and valley it was usually 320 miles round trip
Is there any particular reason why the East Wenatchee side is so underdeveloped compared to Wenatchee?
great to watch...so how do you travell from the airport ..do you have transport there?
A friend who lives in Winthrop picked us up. If I'd known how close she lived to Winthrop Airport, I probably would have just landed in her yard.
@@FlyingMAir Many thanks for the reply..living in london uk no room for a helicopter.again many thanks ..
I love your videos!!!!! I live near Wenatchee and I would love to hire you for a short sightseeing trip. Is that possible???? Thank you again!!!!!!
Sorry! I’m not doing passenger flights this year because the helicopter is getting too close to overhaul and I need those hours for cherry drying.
@@FlyingMAirThats funny... I'm just now watching your Icicle Creek video where you just pointed that out!!! GREAT GREAT videos!!!! Thank you
Miss the Freedom of flying in a Helo
Is it legal to film peoples houses like that?
Lake Chelan is 50 miles long..
Here from Nick Zentner
👍🏻
and no it wasn't boring thank you.
If you’re doubling over narration, I would still like to hear the radio calls. If you could switch to radio calls and then back to narration that be great.
There were like 3 radio calls this whole flight. I'll keep it in mind for the next narrated flight.
