    I see a lot of negative comments but I personally loved this flow! Not every video is going to be a perfect fit for everyone. I personally crave challenging flows and have a hard time finding these types of advanced videos. This was exactly what I was looking for! I'm not nearly as flexible as Talia but felt inspired by her :)

  • @ajulie4242
    @ajulie4242 Год назад +4

    That was amazing!! exactly what i needed to work on my thoracic extension. obviously Talia is more flexible than most and when you do this flow, you're not going to look exactly like her but I find it easy to modify or stop where my body needs to. I'll definitely do this again!

  • @yougotsaprettymouth
    @yougotsaprettymouth 5 лет назад +5

    Talia is very impressive. I think it would be appropriate to share modifications for these poses as some of them could be very dangerous for people to perform. I know, we should all embrace our own level, but I believe it would be responsible to mention that this is very advanced and to briefly mention the modifications, unless you are exclusively making this video for yoga professionals. Still - won't ever complain about free yoga. Thank you!

    In the first part of the flow I was confused, discouraged and demotivated. I found Talia being to fast and graceful. I don't know what happened than, maybe my heart really opened because something changed and I ended up loving this flow. Also I am sweating and feeling great so thank you Talia

    Man, that was great! Talia is the big leagues, meaning she is a pro! This was challenging and inspiring. I could not keep up with all the moves but I now have firmer goals. Outstanding!

    Kicked. My. Ass!!! Lol it was good but it was a challenge! For those giving it a try, don’t be discouraged if you can’t do certain poses. If you need to, pause it and take a couple of breathes in child’s pose to recalibrate. In time, it’ll get easier. Practice makes progress. Always!!

    this is one of my favourite classes, it’s quite challenging, yet, while i usually get frustrated for not perfectly achieving a class, it doesn’t happen with this one :) it’s true what the rest of the comments say, yet i guess that’s what usually annoys me on the other classes, so this one is right on for me 🧘‍♀️

    Nice heart opening flow with lots of backbends! I do not practice backbends enough so this made me. However seems to be for very flexible people- of course you can modify but not everyone knows suitable modifications. I know Talia is extremely flexible, however not many modifications were provided/ not a lot of prep given for the deep back bends and hamstring stretches. For most people, there needs to be more warm up for these kind of stretches and poses. There are the extremely flexible yogis who can probably do these easily without much warm up.

    Incredible practice but not a beginner or intermediate friendly flow. At one point, I felt like I wanted to clap as if I were watching a Circus show! I would classify this as extremely advanced.

    thank you so much, I can complete part of them, some are not quite there hahaha, and thank you to Talia, I found myself far from flexible, and I have not trained my back good enough, Every time I do this flow, I say to myself do what I can do and try to improve every time. I enjoy this flow very much, and I believe one day I can do most of them, even it may take me 10 years :) Once again Thank You!

    Thank you for the session Talia! Although, I do share the same concerns as some other people have commented.
    1. The directions were either too quick or lacking entirely.
    2. She often jumped from postures to other postures extremely quickly, without following the steps which made it hard to follow.
    3. This involved way too many advanced poses for a flow which states nothing about being advanced.
    Regardless, Thank you for the session again, hope this feedback gets incorporated in future sessions.
    Namaste!

    Certainly a great workout for advanced Yogis ! Could be great to specify the level of the class within the title of the video. I didn't know some poses yet but also wasn't offered any variations in the video. I stopped the video half way through, even if I would have love to continue because I liked the flow but couldn't keep up. Thank you anyway for all the videos available in your channel, I will keep looking for another.

    I did not like this workout. She doesn't give directions about what to do early enough for me to be able to go along with her, and then will give incomplete directions or ones that mean different things at different times. Like "Knees, chest and chin" leads to cobra most of the time, but the suddenly it leads to a position where you're down but your butt is up. I felt like she did this not remembering that we can't always see her on the screen. Very frustrating. I didn't finish and won't do this one again. (I generally really like alo workouts.)

    She really just ended the flow by sitting up and saying “That’s it” or was that an editing error? I’m so confused lol. But yes like many comments have said, this video needs to be labeled as Advanced. I almost called it quits after only 8 mins. Very talented woman though.

    Thank you for sharing this flow, Talia & Alo Yoga. It was intense; many of the backbends and spine strengtheners found me staying at the initial variation. Are you, by any chance, a dancer as well as a yoga instructor? You are graceful and fluid, and you oftentimes pointed your toes where many instructors would flex. ;) Love the creativity and the movement of energy in this sequence, and the transitions were beautiful. I had to use a lot of self-love to be okay with not accomplishing many of the full poses. I will be back to practice this regularly until I can obtain full asanas. Thank you again. Namaste.

    I feel that this flow is a bit too heavy on the back bending. There needs to be more forward folding and twisting poses to counter the excessive back bending. It did not feel very accessable at times as well, as modifications were rarely offered. This flow did not feel good in my body, but I appreciate you showing us some advanced options.

    I've been doing yoga for about 5 years now and this was definetely an advanced class, she gives very limited directions and does advanced poses. I don't think the person who put this class in the beginners/slow flow class actually did this practice him/herself. Anyhow, loved it but definetely not a beginners or slow flow class!

    Talia is amazing and truly talented. No one can take that away from her. With that being said, I did want to point out a few things:
    -she moves too quickly and doesn’t explain movements until after the fact
    -there is no warm up
    -there are zero modifications
    -this video was not labeled advanced nor did it provide any disclaimers. Unless you are a follower of Talia’s; you don’t know what “Love & All Is Coming” really means.
    -As a former dancer and as a current dance teacher, I found this practice to be extremely difficult. It seemed more like contrition rather than yoga. I’ve always been known as a flexible dancer, but this was insane.
    -There is a difference between someone who is good at something and someone who is good at teaching
