Hailing from Prague, Czech producer Grove brings us our 64th iBreaks release, with a double-header of dark, driving breakbeat.
Leading the way on this two-track single is "Dropping" which goes straight for the jugular with a driving kick and snare before introducing some low-slung warping bass into the mix. A bubbling mid-line and acidic lead take centre stage before a metallic synth and filtered pads give a lighter feel towards the breakdown. This is dark tech breaks at it's finest!
Flipside track "Titan" has a less dark feel, but still with plenty of drive for the dancefloor. A rhythmic bassline rolls over the beats with complementing talk box synths overhead. The female MC vocal makes way for some crazier mid bass synth work lifting the track towards the end. This one has plenty of groove to get butts moving!
