DIAGNOSIS:
March 19th, 2021 Stage IIIA Non Small Cell Lung Cancer (Non-Smoking)
February 2022 Stage IV Non Small Cell Lung Cancer (spreading to Brain, and other parts of lung and lymph nodes)
Gene Mutation EGFR with Exon 20 Insertion
TREATMENTS: Received or currently Receiving
2021: 8 Rounds of Chemotherapy (Carboplatin and Paclitaxel) with 30 concurrent radiation treatments to chest and lung
Failed Immunotherapy directly after Chemo and Radiation (Durvalumab, 1 round)
2022: Chemotherapy
10 rounds of Chemotherapy (Carboplatin, Alimta, and Avastin)
6 with Carboplatin, 4 without
Targeted Brain Radiation (Completed)
CURRENT TREATMENT:
I am on a clinical trial for my specific gene mutation

The purpose of my channel is to document my cancer journey to look back on, and/or help anyone else going through anything similar. It is also to potentially help loved ones supporting those who are in this fight as well. This is also an easy way to update a lot of people at once. My main goal is to have footage of this journey for my husband and children to look back on. I originally created this channel as a sort of video diary for my

My dad died of the same cancer Jenny has. He was given weeks to live when we found out. He fought for 18 months. It was hard watching him get sicker and pass. But we did everything possible to keep him Comfortable and insure we all loved him. Miracles do happen every day and l hope this family gets ones.

Jenny, you are REMARKABLE! So glad for your stellar news. What a fun celebration watching the kids play with airplanes. I just heard this song on the radio today and it hit me in the depths of my soul. I don't know if this will be helpful to you as you are such a positive person and Thank God you got good news today and there is no "Scanxiety" looming on the horizon... but part of being strong and positive i think is having someone to lean on as your family does so well for each other. I will try to post the youtube link for the song but if it gets removed for copyright or whatever it is called "I will carry you" by Ellie Holcomb. Part of the lyrics really aren't maybe relevant to you as it talks about shame and mistakes in life. I am dealing with alot of regret in my own life and helping someone who has lost everything and trying to set up a new life and home which i think is why the song hit me so hard. But the part about having someone there (both a partner, family, and God) in our darkest hour, when you can't sleep and there is pain and worry, etc. i hope it is something you can store away for when you need to know that help is there. As of today and being in hospitals for around 30 days! And much therapy and many many prayers. I am walking by myself no walker and my memory is coming back. Should get close to 100% back to my old life. God is Awesome 24/7. I am so happy for you guys!!!❤️🤗🥰
