- Panama City (FL) Police disrupt a WJHG-TV interview with a concerned citizen over a damaged tomb that would embarrass the City.
The news reporter called for an interview but Assistant City Manager Jared Jones called Police Chief Mark Smith to send a team of cops instead.
Then they filed a false police report claiming an "unknown passerby" called about "a suspicious person" messing with the grave.
This is disturbing on many levels. Most importantly, how often do they create false police reports? How many people have been wrongly arrested and sent to jail over false reports?
Thanks for sharing this and exposing the disrespectful and disgusting behaviors of these public servants!!!

CAD was blank as to who called police on me
I have all the paperwork and it's clearly altered. The CAD is suppose to have both who called them on me and my info. Just my info on the bottom and nothing on the top. A CAD was made cause a call was made but since it was the Asst City Manager they redacted his info but kept mine and gave it to me. Even the investigation report has lies. I never said i called the news. They called me and asked for an interview. Not me calling them. You can literally pick it apart cause it was rushed. They didn't think we would ask for public records so they threw documents together and passed them off to me.

In the end my girlfriend and I did the work but there is still alot of work to be done but they ignore it. I was even asking to be easy on them (the city) and "make our job a little easier" cause I called them out in several intercirw on the conditions of our city's cemeteries.
